A real redneck artist, Waka, but I liked the nude he did better (in the background)! :D

Thanks Waka,
brings back some bad memories........while cutting a tree, high in the air, the ladder slipped just as I was reaching for a branch overhead.
I dropped the chainsaw and grabbed for the closest limb. The saw fell, still spinning, and hit me in the neck decapitating me.
As luck would have it, an old friend that was an expert in triage from his National Ski Patrol days was there to catch me and re-establish connections to all vital areas. No wonder I am the way I am.:insane:

There are chain saw carvers in my area. I admire what they can do with such a large power tool. I do find the work quite rough but what can you expect? Me...I tried starting a chain saw once and didn't have the physical strength so I guess I can give up the idea of ever taking up that trade :D

Hiya Spooksis!!

Happy to have you stop by again :smile:

Hope all is well with you and yours (especially the wee one)

Sal 12. January 2007, 06:27

yer welcome Waka  The wee one is doing superbly - a nice easy baby - just eats and sleeps - a welcome change for my daughter as her first born is what some experts call 'spirited'. - very bright and very active - I'm sure he'll achieve great things in his life but for now he takes a lot of attention

Excellent link thank! Nice to see a fellow Jock getting some well earned publicity (I am half Scots through no fault of my mother).

Cheers

hungryghost 16. January 2007, 17:19

heh heh...they juggle chainsaws here...

Wakajawaka 16. January 2007, 17:21

Hiya H!!

I saw a chainsaw juggling act at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK years ago!

At the end of it, the three jugglers took a deserved bow........all limbs still intact! It was impressive indeed
