Wakas Thoughts on Life and Love and All Things in Between

Brain Damage

This began as an acoustic 'on my own and all by myself' version of a song called Brain Damage!

Top quality additional vocals were of course added by the very excellent Waka Jr!

I'd never realised before but the opening bars of the verse of 'Brain damage' are taken directly from The West Coast Pop-Art Experimental Band's 'As The World Rises And Falls'; even the drifty lead guitar part's the same, and the closing chords of the verse seem to come from 'Thousands on a raft' by Pete Brown's Piblokto.

I've always thought of the Floyd as being completely original, why would that one track remind me of two others? Even the title of the album - Dark Side of the Moon - has been used before (By me for a start... p: ).

Suddenly I feel an urge to dig out a couple of old albums...
