3 days ago, a national newspaper here in Holland called De Telegraff (The Telegraph) ran a story that said 20% of all shit that was scooped up from the streets of Amsterdam in the last 12 months was HUMAN shit!!

To be honest, I dont know where to start with this one.....

Mrs J read me the story as I was making a morning cup of tea, but before I would believe her I had to read it myself!!

SO many thoughts and questions come to mind on the back of a headline like that.

But for now......if you ARE in the process of booking one of those Amsterdam Sex Club-dope smoking-Van Gogh admiring-Anne Frank visiting weekends...............just be careful where you are walking

Hi Waka; On my last visit to Paris, there were a lot of side streets that could not be strolled casually because of the excrement from what I thought were animal pets. Now, I wonder if the socialists are behind it all! For sure, I'll wear my hip boots the next time I visit that city!

this is a disgusting bit of 'news' My face is all scrunched up just thinking about it.

Is the 20% the number of 'droppings' or the volume of the 'droppings'? People poop is larger than animal poop - except probably elephants and I doubt there are many pachyderms strolling around the streets of Amsterdam

A few elephants have been spotted strolling those streets once in a while, Spook Sis.

Not sure the sightings had much to do with elephants strolling the streets though.
