So in the Netherlands its a National Holiday today!
Something to do with something called Assention Day!
Jesus rising and heading on his heavenly way!!
On his way, he fixes it so that folks in the Netherlands gets a day off work every second last Thursday in May.
And who said being a friend of Jesus doesn’t pay??
Meanwhile….
I think Im falling in love with the 76 year old lady who lives next door!
Don’t tell anyone I told you this……But people under 75 just don’t seem to do it for me anymore!!.
And guess what??
I’ve now got hairs growing out of my nose!!
When THAT started happening, I will probably never know!
Two hours ago, T showed me a picture of a deer.
She wanted to know which colour I thought she should use to colour in the ears.
Bruce Springstein just phoned. Said he’s coming to NL to headline a major festival this summer.
Told him we don’t have room for the whole band to sleepover. He said that was a bummer.
Michael Jackson reckons he is gonna play 50 live shows?.
We got more chance of him admitting he hates Liz Taylor, and had nothing done to his nose!!.
So my 76 yr old neighbour just called.
Bit my lip and told her ‘Sorry my dear, but I don’t want to get involved!
She said... ‘Now, now, young man….I’m not asking you to sleep with me!!
I just wanted to know if you would like to join me for a cup of tea ??
After all…..It’s a National Holiday!
So I did…………And the tea was lovely!!
We were on our second cup when she told me her name was Beatrix, and that she was Royal.
I told her 'I couldnt give a shit who you are...You will never get as many YouTube hits as Susan Boyle!
I was arrested and charged with Verbal Terrorism against a Monarch.
And to think all I had planned to do today was stay home and help Waka Jr with her homework.
So I hired a lawyer, and now its just a case of 'wait and see'
Never a dull moment over here, when its a National Holiday!
Just when you thought Holland was all about dope, hookers, Anne Frank, and a few expensive paintings!!
