I recently picked up a Macbook Pro from our hardware wastebin at work. I had it checked by Humac, and they claim that the motherboard is faulty and that it is not covered by this http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2377.
Ohh well it was worth a try, but tonight I will try to disassemble the logic-board and bake it in the oven like this
