Today’s clip is from “Golden Sunshower”, some very talented guys from Brasil. Check out this clip and keep in mind – it’s from 2002! If you like that kind of stuff you’ll love the films from this year’s selection in October!
Why? The german TV station “3sat” will show a special about films from the net. Wolfgang Danner, responsible for this special, gave us motivating feedback. Looking our DVD with the nominations for Webcuts 04+05 (2005), he was really impressed from the high quality of the movies. We are delighted to report that this year again we will receive public funding for Webcuts from the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. Not only are we happy about the money, which will make it possible for us to turn Webcuts into an event that will enable true exchange between the internet film makers and their audience. But receiving this funding is also a recognition for the high standard of the festival and the internet films shown at it. We are now in the same league as big international co-productions of movies, such as "V for Vendetta", which also received funding from the Medienboard ;-)
So, a very BIG thank you to the Medienboard and everybody making those fantastic films!
Another Monday, another metting . Today we discussed video space, party location, the typical next steps AND the end of the Football World Cup! We all hoped France will win but now the Italian did it Anyway we had a fantasitic World Cup and we are all happy to see our team (Germany) getting the third. Now the cup is over, fever is gone and again we can fall in love with organizing Webcuts.06
