Up Early

Blogging is like standing at a mike in a very large dark room with hundreds of people you can't see. Why do we want to talk to these people, or even to ourselves in this way? What is it that makes us think people want to hear what we think? Perhaps we feel important enough or have just enough self esteme to think we have something worth hearing...?
This is what I get for getting up too early. I've done a few reflection textures, tested them in Max, now I'm waiting for the house to wake and I'll make coffee. If I make it now everyone will be up and I'm enjoying the quietness of the morning.
The Basics bundle so far is almost 2 Gigs of texture files. Looks like there will be a Basics Bundle 1, 2 and maybe 3. Visual Bacon will likely use PayPal to sell the DVDs. Still checking that all out. The first 3 DVDs for Visual Bacon will most likely be Alien Assortment, Basics Bundle1, and Creative Collection 1. So far I'm going alphabetical with the releases. A-Z Texture DVDs! The sets will also include Special Selection DVDs titled. Heaven & Hell (for texturing all things Good and evil) Holidaze 1 & 2 (most major celebrations) Doodlez (An eclectic DVD with graphiti and sketches from many artists and non-artists) I know this lets the cat out of the bag but word of mouth is the best advertising. Any feedback or questions would be welcome.
More later.

I laughed with the first sentence, then had to think about the second one. My answer....because I had to. If you're alone too much, the silence can sometimes be deafening. This blogging and sharing of my art and life has been good for me. It's gotten me out of the house to take photos of my surroundings. I notice things more and think "I wonder what they'll think of that". It's gotten me to get busy and retake some photos of my work that I'd lost in a pc crash.
It's gotten me to vent with a few of my poems and to let go of things.
It is kind of weird talking to people you can't see and may never see but somehow....there's a connection....to what, I don't know. Maybe just a connection to life.
