Virtual claim staking
Wednesday, 5. December 2007, 08:43:33
These Virtual Communities have become a place not unlike the Old West in America or the mining towns during the Gold Rush eras. Although there may be a bit more order inherent in the making of these Virtual Towns it is hard to miss the feeling of pioneer-spirit-land-rush-claim-staking-dancehall-gunfighters-wildwest.
Checking out these new areas for marketing of Caden's music and VisualBacon Textures I have seen a little bit of Kaneva, Entropia Universe and Digital Space Traveler. I've started to renovate the free space you get with Kaneva. Adding my textures from the Visual Bacon textures I make and even adding some music videos with Caden's music to my free virtual TV there. I'll post some shots here ASAP.
There is a lot of potential with Kaneva and these others I'm sure. But it may take a while, just like the old west, to bring a little more civilization to these virtual towns.
If you've had any experience in these virtual communities post a comment about your experiences.

We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Btw: I don't like virtual Communities. I tried them out once or twice, but i just can't get a liking to them. Maybe they have potential. But i still wouldn't like it if that potential would develop.
Actually i think it would be nice if not everything would be shifted from "Real Life" to "Virtual Life". There are just some thinks that i think need to be done in "Real Life" rather than in "Virtual Life".
Greetingz, and Merry Christmas again !
