B+

On a wall in my office I have one of those big plastic letters from an old sign. It is a Capital B to which I added a plus sign to the top right corner.

On a wall in my office I have one of those big plastic letters from an old sign. It is a Capital B to which I added a plus sign to the top right corner. To most visitors it is a curious thing that needs some explaining, which I will discuss if they point it out. Sometimes I will bring it up as the conversation warrants. The B plus is actually a reminder to myself to "Be Positive!" (A sign has been needed often lately with all the negative junk that's been happening)

My recent post about the inauguration is not the norm for me and not exactly very positive. I will leave it here because of others out there that are also being insulted and outraged with what they see and hear. We need to know we are not alone in things, that's probably why a lot of us blog and are involved in the Opera community. We have online friends that may not share our beliefs but we also have ones that do and lift our spirits by sharing thoughts. I'm thankful for all of you and want to be honest about my core beliefs even if you may not share them. Who knows mabe I can help you get on the Right track

Lately I have found friends through linkedin.com that I haven't heard from in many years (for what ever reasons) Things come in groups it seems boom, boom, boom. All at once I've reconnected with several friends from way back. It's great and helps one to look forward to a more positive future whatever may come. Friends. New and old, glad to know you all. Maybe you too will make a little "B+" for your office or cubicle, a little positive reminder that we can share. Good friends always help us to "B+".

Yep, we have to be positive, because our world is awful enough without us taking it all so seriously.

Thanks Bryan. I had a sign on my wall in the office for years, it's probably still around here somewhere, that says in huge red letters on a black background

It is kind of pathetic that we have to put up things to remind us that life is good, but it sure has been my experience that such reminders are vital. :-)
