The files at
GR3 Project have been removed. I am mirroring them here; you'll find the links above. Of particular interest are the early versions and conceptual artwork of La-Mulana, as well as the game GR3 and its source code.
Oh, and there are really quite a few
La-Mulana videos at YouTube now. If you're stuck somewhere maybe you will find one of them to be
helpful.

A
jman2050 has begun uploading a video playthrough of La-Mulana, complete with detailed notes. This could prove to be helpful to some, or at the very least interesting viewing. The first segment is
here, with notes
here.
On a related point, has anyone attempted a La-Mulana speedrun? Despite subsequent attempts I've still not managed to best my
fastest run. Insofar as I am aware the fastest clear time is still
three hours and fifteen minutes; has anyone beaten that?
Also,
a full map?

Significant Directory Restructuring+ Full MSX Name Consistency

+ General Refinement
The MSX ROM Directory now only lacks the effect of combining 58. シャロム (Shalom) and 73. コナミの占いセンセーション (Diviner Sensation). Any ideas?

Version 1.01 of La-Mulana's English patch does not translate the manual as the original release did. Until this is resolved you may download the translated manual
here.

A couple points of curiosity.
I've read that there is a character to be found near a campfire somewhere in 巨人墓場 (Graveyard of the Giants) and although I've located a file in the directory to confirm this, I've never actually met this character. Where is he?
Also, I'm
quite certain that there was not a floor here...

...when I was playing through the Japanese language La-Mulana. Was I playing an older version of the game, or was this added for the English patch? Mind you, I'm not exactly complaining, as the addition of that floor makes one of the most frustrating points in Hell a great deal easier, but I
am rather curious.
