I haven't posted much lately since I'm having problems of gigantic proportions and already am spending much time and effort with other parts of
Opera Community, but I believe that it is time to write couple of things that have been runing around my hear this last couple of days and that are related to
Opera Community Blogs.
So.. to organize this post...Primary thing is always debugging existing stuff, so, a list of topics that are related to problems that have been reported for quite a while and haven't been solved.
- When I upload an image to "/blog" it gets put in "/files" directory [link]
- I can not add an image to my group blog postings like my personal blog [link]
- 502 Error when adding an icon to a tag [link]
- Trackback mixing URLs from personal blog and group blog [link]
- Posting empty comments on blogs / galleries [link]
- Bug with attaching files from photo album [link]
Ok, bugz are gone, what now?Ok, I now have time to write couple of IMHO the most important features...
- Categories or Categorising tags with possibility to syndicate with tags / Building tag cloud
- Making possible for owners to be emailed if they recieve message / comment / new member.
- Making possible for users to subscribe to blogs both via their "news" feature and and email.
- Making Theme1 in many colors so users can select what they want
Plus some small features:
- Image with description
- Inserting Thumbnails from album linked to fullsized images.
- Making users possible to use more fonts in font selector, for example Impact, Verdana, Trebuchet Ms, Comic Sans MS, Garamond, GothicE, GothicG, GothicI.

I will try to be short.
I believe that block similar to
this one should be used, but that users should be possible to select how much tags do they want to show in their settings.
Also tag cloud (tag cloud - a list of tags where size reflects popularity.)from the same place should be used. See it

Making possible for owners to be emailed if they recieve message / comment / new member.I believe this is clear.
Making possible for users to subscribe to blogs both via their "news" feature and and email. Ok, we now have RSS and ATOM but too many people don't know how to use it, or maybe don't want to use it, so I believe that we should be able to choose.
1. Subscription to mail is a common thing , I believe there is no reason to explain it.
2. Subscription to news feature isn't , but that feature would show it's full potential if used as a syndication tool. So, the same way you can show changes for yourself, you should be able to subscribe and see changes for someone else, for example new blog posts, or comments on posts you also commented and so on.
Making Theme1 in many colors so users can select what they wantSo, we now have 6 templates to choose from, and although they look nice, there are 3 blue and 2 red, green and violet theme... Ok, themes will be developed in future, but is is rather easy to change
Theme1 to any other color, and I believe it would mean a whloe lot to members.
I already submited here a small selection of possible colors, and I will resubmit it.

I believe this is very important for many bloggers, people need to write explanations.
Inserting Thumbnails from album linked to fullsized images.Now we are able to insert thumbnails to post.. but what is their use if they don't link to full size picture?
Making users possible to use more fonts in font selectorThese fonts can be found on pretty much any machine and most of them are preinstaled with OS, so I believe that users should have real choice if there is an option for them to choose.
