Although your upgrade rans moothly this time, there is no telling when a stray alpha particle will kill a bit of memory, causing a GPF, ans system crash right on the seek spot in the hard drive where the NTFS links are for the File Names for Opera Configuration files.
If this sounds too Rube Goldberg-ish, then I appologize, however, and this needs to be stresed. IF your upgrade does not include plands for Disaster striking at the worst possible moment , that is an invitation for the potential for something to go wrong.
If you do back up the Data files, and the Config files, and nothing goes wrong what have you lost? Nothing but the time to implement the Backup. If it does go wrong your data [and bacon] is saved.
