Today is my BIRTHDAY! [June 17th]

[/IMG]
Today is my BIRTHDAY! I turn 20 today. Yep, I've been on this planet for 20 years now. It had its ups and downs, but I look forward with no fear to what the future holds for me.

Visit I+!

Recently i've been hard at work trying to find the great indie games available (most of which are free!) on the net and i've gotten some nice results! My most recent posts cover two freeware 2D multiplayer shooters, both of them are good and free! Click the link: I+

Update:My Pc Gamepad Has Finally Arrived!

, ,

The Logitech Precision Pad is an inexpensive pc game pad made to plug N play, meaning there are no drivers or disc to be had. I've chosen this controller because whenever I wanted to play a 2d game on the pc like Abe's Oddysee, it would always only recognize the control stick on any controller that had both control stick and D-pad, which always annoyed me. Also, I chose this one because of the many positive rating this controller had on many site such as Amazon, Circuit City, Newegg, and many other sites.

Ok, now that Christmas is over and all, I can give y'all, my review of the controller. After opening the clamshell case. There was the controller and a small piece of paper with stuff that is not too important unless you really want to read it. Anyways, after plugging up the controller to the pc, the pc recognized it immediately. After that was done, I decided to test it out on one of the many 2d games I have on my PC. Well, during the testing, i've noticed that the D-pad felt kinda soft. Which kinda bugged me, but I guess it's something you have to get used to. But besides the D-pad, all of the other buttons felt tight and responsive, which made me very happy. So, I would have to give this inexpensive pc controller a 8/10.

What I'm getting for Xmas

So, this year my limit is $100.00, now you may be thinking "that ain't much for games", oh on the contrary. I can actually get alot for $100.00 and here is the list of games i'm getting:

Zap! Well, I did some thinking about what exactly i'm going to spend the remaining $60.00 i'll get for Christmas and I decided not to get Jets'n'Guns, and instead get Zap. Jets'n'Guns is a wonder shooter, but since it cost's $30.00 and I only got $60.00. It will only allow me to get 3 games instead of all four on my list. I did get Wind & Water Puzzle battle already and have gotten a pc controller for $14.00. So, i'll be getting Zap instead! Anyways, "Zap!" is actually a pretty darn fun retro styled multi-player online shooter. Which I have played a demo of in the past and enjoyed it very much! Here are the links to my post of the game and a link to the official site:

Alien ShooterThis second game on my list is another great game i've done a post on a while ago. This game is a classic styled top-down shooter which I found very fun and addictive. In this game you must kill hoards of aliens throughout the many levels you will go through ( I know I haven't given much of a description of the game, but trust me on this one, this game is very fun!). This game costs about $20.00. Here's a link to my previous blog of this game and a link to the official site: Alien Shooter post

Wind & Water Puzzle Battle The third game on my list is a pretty cool and original puzzle which is alot of fun, has alot of replay value, and actually makes you think. I've had alot of fun and alot of laughs with the demo of this game. OK, for starters, this isn't the kind of puzzle game where you can scores crazy points from the start. You must first learn how the game is played ( like many other puzzle games). Well, anyways the story mode is alot of fun and provides many mind numbing challenges and a very funny plot which will leave you giggling alot. This game is a must for puzzle fans and also if you buy the game before Dec 24, you can get a sprite version of yourself in the game. This game costs about 24.00 (that is with the special offer, which i'm getting) and 16.00 without the custom sprite. Here's a link to my previous post of this game and a link to the official site: Wind & Water post

Soldat This last game on my list i've been playing alot lately since it's so much fun! Soldat which it's called is a online multi-player side scroller shooter. This game has many of the you would expect from any FPS. But the action in this game is alot more frantic and a hell of alot of fun online. After setting up the controllers to better fit your tastes, you'll want to go to the lobby which hosts over 300-500 servers from around the world. Once you choose the server that fits you most, you'll go against other players which will use strategy to try to defeat you. You'll find yourself having alot of fun trying your best your rack up points. Of course, in order to be good at this game, you must practice. This game is free to play, but in order to access most of the features and gain access to the level editor, you must register the game for $14.00. Brushing with Ions!

After seeing that on "Attack of the Show!", I checked it out for myself and was surprised what it could do. I bet your wondering what's so special about this tooth brush? Well, apparently with this toothbrush, you don't need to use toothpaste at all. Here's a quote from the site:

The Ionic toothbrush works on the principle that every element in nature has a positive or negative charge. This is called polarity. When the polarities are opposite, the two elements cling together. That's why dust sticks to your coffee table and why plaque, which has a positive charge (+), clings stubbornly to your negatively charged (-) teeth.

so, what do you think? Do you think it's a bunch of plaque or do you think it's something that's actually refreshing?

( I got to get one of these for myself bigsmile)

Samurai Toasters, Cell Sized Robots, and Retro Online Games.

, ,

I+ has been on the hunt for awesome indie games and..well we have struck digital gold! Over the past couple of days, i've been looking for the great stuff these indie game developers have been making, and I have to say, i've found some great gems. One of the games i've found is a game called "Zap", which is a retro styled multi-player shooter game, but unlike many modern retro shooting games out there, this game has alot of reply value, here's a description from the official site:

Zap is a game of action and strategy. In Zap, the goal of the game varies from level to level. Some games types rely heavily on frags, while others will rely on stealth and strategy. ZAP! can be played using your keyboard and mouse or a dual-analog gamepad (recommended). In addition, you can choose different loadout modules and weapons during the game. These different configurations will determine how you will play the game. You might want to use a different configuration for each different gametype. In order for your team to be the most successful, you should have team members with many different configurations.

You can check out the post, as well as a link to the site at I+/Zzzap!

The next game I got to show you, is a game staring a cell sized robot helping to fight off viruses that are infecting a human. You can check out the post of this game on I+/Cellbot
The last game I will show you is still in development from the developer, is a game staring a Brazilian samurai toaster (yes, you read it right). Anyways here's a description from the site:

Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is a 2D platformer with stunning graphics and exciting gameplay. Eduardo can run, jump, and toast his way to his goal. Eduardo has a variety of other moves that he can use to attack his enemies or to get himself out of danger. Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is set for release during Q4 of 2007 on the PC and will be the world's first game to feature a Brazilian samurai toaster as its hero.

You can check out the I+ post of this game as well as a link to the game by following the link:
