Pekka Kana 2

,

While searching through IndyGamer, I've came across an interesting looking game called Pekka Kana 2 and luckily its free!

What the flip is Pekka Kana?

screen shot from Pekka Kana 2

"Pekka Kana 2 is an oldschool 2D platformer where you control a rooster called Pekka. Your mission in Pekka Kana 2 is to save Pekka's chicken friends from an evil crow. Games such as Super Mario, Jack Jazzrabbit, Sonic the Hedgehog, Turrican, and Brian the Lion have inspired me to make this game."

Tagg.ed!

Apparently I have to list 5 things I would like to see in either Opera Mini, Opera Desktop, Opera Mobil, and/or Opera for Nintendo Wii, ant to also tag 5 more people. Well, since I don't have Opera on anything else but my Nintendo Wii (Don't ask why, lets just say everyone has their own favorite browsers for their different internet capable electronics.)

Ok, lets get the list started:

1. I would like to see keyboard compatibility in future updates of the Wii browser.

2. I would like to see quicktime support in the wii browser.

3. I would like to see regular updates of the flash player in the Wii browser.

4. I would like to see sd download/ upload capabilities in the future Wii browsers.

5. It would be kinda cool if the Wii browser had Irc support, but should only be done if there is any keyboard support.

I'm not sure who to tag next, so i will just tag anyone I just have to tag.

The Robots, They've CAME!

Finally, my copy of Mr.Robot finally came from the United Kingdom. Yes, it took over a month to come from the UK, and now I have it. I'm not going to go into much detail of the game since I've already covered it in the Domo Origato Mr.Roboto! post. Well, I had the game before getting the disc as a download from the official site. But the download versions sound quality kinda sucks compared to the disc version and it seem that the disc version has more tracks added to it. Also, once installing the disc version, you are required to load the disc whenever you want to play the game. It's not because of lack of ram or hard drive space, it's for security reasons. But overall the game is awesome and should be tried out by anyone who love a good rpg/puzzle/action/adventure game.

I Just got Oddworld: Abe's oddysee in the mail! Yays!!

Yes, the wait is finally over, I finally got the game I always wanted. Now, I bet your wondering whats all the fuss, well... Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is a very good adventure underrated pc/Ps1 game that came out in 1997. In the game you take the role of a slave alien trying to save the others from......lets just say from impending doom. Anyways the game is large and adventurous, there is alot to explore in this game. This game is a definite must for anyone who want to play an adventure game that is different from the norm. But finding this game is kinda hard since it's no longer in production since early 2000, but it can be found on the net for an inexpensive price, if you know where to look or you could just go here: http://www.5dollarsoftware.com/

Here is where you can get the demo(windows platform only):

Underrated Pc Adventure Games of Olde

After searching around the net, i've came across some pretty interesting underrated Pc games that are quite worth playing. Games such as Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, Oddworld: Abe's Exodus, Out of This World (a.k.a. Another World), Grim Fandango, and many others. I know many of you may say that Pc gaming is "wack", stupid, and not as good as console gaming (which may be true). But as a console gamer, I have to say that these games are quite nice to play and are worth the time, it just takes some time to find some of these rare gems on the net.

(Note: Many of the games of the 1980s and 1990s, only ran on Windows based PC's and/or DOS. So unless you have a program to play such games, your out of luck.)

Aquaria

Well, I can't say much about the game, because the demo isn't available yet. But I can say from seeing the video of the game, that Aquaria looks quite interesting. The full version and demo is set for release later this year.

Domo Origato Mr.Roboto!

While searching through http://indygamer.blogspot.com, i've came across an interesting game called Mr.Robot. Now, Mr.Robot is a adventure/rpg/puzzle game put into a neat little package. But like most traditional RPGs, it has random battles, turn based game play, special attacks, the ability to level up and add more party members. The game's main character is a robot named Asimov and your mission is..i'm not going to give away details about what the game is all about. You'll just have to play the demo to find out. But besides not giving you the detail of the story, I have to say that this game is AWESOME! It's one of the best indie games I've have played yet!

You can download the demo as well as buy the game if you like it, just by clicking the link below:
