The Beauty of Frost

This morning 01/11/08 I woke up to very thick frost on everything, it was so remarkable I had to share a couple of shots with the group.

The first is a contrast image of frost and blue sky and the second is a closeup of frost crystals on icicles. Enjoy!

WOW... so glad you shared these with us! Beautiful!!!!

I have seen tons of ice and snow but I do not recall ever seeing frost on icicles. That is very unusual!
