Thanks! Tricky blighter to photograph. Down in the shade so it was a struggle to keep the shutter speed workable. I think this was at ISO 800, f/5.6 and set to under-expose a bit.

Thanks for the info. You did very well with a shade-liking creature! Shade and / or forests can be very trying :insane: I had some difficulties with my grizzlies for the opposite reason - one persisted in standing so that the sun brightly illuminated her from the other side! I was very grateful when she decided to briefly walk behind the group and get the sun at the right angle for me!
