Adele, yes I'm having fun with it.

Darko, I used the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS for this shot (and most of the recent ones I've posted).

Beautiful, the professor in the South Downs Planetarium in nearby Chichester said that photography of the Moon when its near its half phase is the best because it really outlines the Craters and mountains, well done bigsmile

Excellent shot. I used to take a lot of astro pictures in the old days of film. I used a 400 mm lens with a doubler. Thanks for the technical info - I'll try it, but my best lens is a 210 zoom, so I won't get anything this great.
