It's a nice one too! It looks nice enough to pet, but I suppose that wouldn't be too good an idea, give the badgers rep

I agree with Robin, but it would be so nice to touch that fur :D

I think badger fur is very coarse actually!

Lovely photo - she looks great

Hey,
I have a suggestion for you, as the foxes and other animals seem to pretty much always appear in the same spot, you could set up a couple of remote flashes, that way you would get way better light setup. Cheap Cactus triggers would work just fine, you would just need a 2nd flash I guess and some way to mount it.

More info about off-camera flashes can be found at strobist.com, I suggest you take a look there ;]

Cheers

Robin, I think badgers probably have an unfair reputation but they can be fierce. I can assure you I won't be risking my hand!

Darko, tempting, but no!

Adele, I htink she may be the same one as had the scar (in which case it's healing well). There's a roughness to the fur around her front left shoulder in about the right location. Tough critters!

Ramunas, you are absolutely right about using remote flashes. It's on my list of equipment to get so one day I'll get round to it. Thanks for the link!

Oh nice one

Yes I was pleased with that :D
