Sprogger, the sudden appearance of clouds of buzzards is quite special. There are a few spots where I just have to wait a few minutes and several appear.

Robin, the kite really made the day.

Adele, a peregrine would have wrapped it up nicely whistle

Words Friday, April 23, 2010 8:55:57 PM

Neil, I'm almost tripping over buzzards at the moment. Easier to find than kestrels, which is saying something.

Darko, I wonder how they will cope chef

Loiscakkleberrylane Saturday, April 24, 2010 11:37:30 PM

A very profitable day for photos. The underside of the buzzard is so beautiful!

Words Saturday, April 24, 2010 11:45:16 PM

Lois, thanks. The buzzards are easily the most spectacular of the local raptors. They tend to fly in pairs, sometimes in larger groups.
