My OperaA Quiet Day

A quiet day, photographically. It started early out on the Downs. The skies were grey and there was a touch of mist in the air. Skylarks were singing their hover song, but it was the dunnocks that caught my eye, frolicking along the low thickets.
Another of the meadow birds was also up and about, a pipit (I think it's a tree pipit but I could easily be mistaken).
By late morning I was in the suburbs of North London, where I photographed this handsome beast. It was taken at College Farm, which is a small urban farm, and I believe the only one of its kind remaining in the city.
Back home this evening I spotted a caterpillar in the garden, possibly a cabbage moth (but I'm even less certain about caterpillars than I am about pipits).
And finally one I can identify without too much trouble, even if he is doing his utmost to hide: a fox.
Camera note: the first three shots were taken with the Canon 7D and EF70-300mm 4.5-5.6 DO IS lens. The final two were taken with the EF 100mm f/2.8L macro IS USM lens.
