THE TOOLS OF A BIRDWATCHING GUIDE ALSO THE SPECTACLED EIDER

As you can see, we anticipate that every, Ornithologist, the bird can see, that we as a guide show them, they may also wich to take a Photo of their species , that have be seen on there trip, also A guide must see that this is possible, many who have not take their precious camera, than we come to the rescue with our equipment.

The beauty of a EIDER.

The spectacled eider,is certainly one of the most spectacular and sought after ducks.
The large goggles combined with the colour pattern give the bird, especially the male, its weird expression.

Several misconceptions exist in the literature about is plumage.First the head of the male is not green and yellow-green, but uniform see-green.
The very short and dense feathers give it a glossy and velvety appearance which, when viewed from different angels, can appear even pale yellow-green.

Secondly, the hind neck does not consist of elongated feathers, as suggested In field guide books, but of grooves in the very short and dense hind neck feathers like those in the side of the neck.

Thirdly, the underside in the male is not salty black but deep glossy black which, again, from different angels can look slaty in appearance.

Finally, spectacled eider appear not all shaggy bur are very neat.

The species breeds in shallow coastal tundra ponds In north eastern Siberia also In Alaska. A beautiful bird to see free In nature....

As we see beauty in nature in each of the species, of which man has imitated birds for diversity as wings to mimic the performance of aircraft and others equipments. Undoubtedly the work of an intelligent creator who made each color and diversity of species to delight us. We draw much attention as something so small can be so beautiful and every life of every being there is research behind it. We see beauty in the photo of Eider his colors as they do not really appreciate it. Through the photography we can see and appreciate them and say that wonder. Undoubtedly your devices are able to capture those moments and be in the exact place to do it. A picture speaks a thousand words and the better way to express your work and say I was here look at the picture!

Beautiful bird, Erwin. They look almost artificial, and as though they have a painted, rubber hood over their heads.

Is this the Eider that was so exploited for it's beautiful, soft feathers? That was probably a different species of eider, though.

That equipment does look topnotch and very efficient. Even I with my poor eyes might be able to see birds in nature with that equipment!

Have a great weekend, friend.
