SAVING ASIA'S RARZST BUNTING......
Saturday, June 16, 2012 1:12:29 PM

Rufous blacked Bunting was once common on grasslands with scattered Siberian apricot scrub across N-East China, to Russia and N-Korea,but because of conversion of its breeding habitat to farmland,by the late 1990 it was assessed as VULNERABLE on the IUCN Red List. This little known passerine continued to decline an even more rapid rate, and was uplisted to ENDANGERED In 2010;making it Asia's rarest bunting. It Is now known to exist only at a few pockets of shrubby grassland along the border between JILIN Province and the Inner MONGOLIA Autonomous region In China. The Expedition 2010(EW) has noted this big decline and the report of this finding was sent yo the minister of Nature at the time. One of the last know populations Is at Tumuji Nat-nature Reserve In the Eastern Inner Mongolia, which was established for consevation of the Great Bustard In 1996. The lands were already leased to private hands.

There Is a need to do more to help this Bunting, but like we now; help cost, time and a mot of dollars, this bunting can not surviving,If there habitats will still be removed, here there Is a great need, for education, and the way we can not louse this species,a study has be done reports to help the species are of a low cost.... so let there not be a other problem, just do It......
