Be Strong poem

I will stand my ground in the vast emptiness
Where there is nothing to taste, see, or hear
And while I'm there, I will not distress
Fore I am in control of my destiny
And fate cannot take me this easily
Death is only a threat when one fears such
But I do not fear this ending
Nor the existence of Death's very touch
I will close my eyes and sing
Sing for those who have loved and lost
Sing for those with no life left to live
Death is avoided but only through a great cost
A cost most would not be willing to give
I will not fear Death fore its only tool is darkness
Fear those creatures in the dark, but do not fear the very lack of light
Or you will be caught up in the blankness
And devoured by the very creature that took your sight
Be strong and wade through the impending doom
Even though you may know what lies ahead
Open the door to the endless room
And sleep forever in the unforgettable bed.
Goodbye my child, you will forever be missed
By those who have lived and loved
And by those you have kissed.
Goodbye.
