J got to ride on a donkey at the beech this weekend!
Grand-dad has broken his left wrist, but still managed to hold the camera to take a pic. I couldn't go down, as I had the dog and she wasn't allowed on the beech at that end... fair enough
Daddy and Nana were there too, and he loved it!!

Busy June!

I went back to karate at the start of June. I was out of routine and I forgot to take off my wedding and engagment rings while at home. So, I took them off in the car, put them in my pocket, put my Claddah ring with them, put my keys on top of them and went to class.
They weren't there when I got home!
But my keys and my Claddah ring were.....
So, I've lost them. I'm not impressed with myself, N wasn't impressed with me: he wouldn't talk to me for 24 hours....
So, I've gone through the insurance.
BUT
Did you know that every 3 years, you're supposed to get vital jewelery like that re-valued and listed as specific items for your house-hold contents? We didn't know that. Wish we did!
We're now waiting for the card to arrive with the money on it, so we can go and start finding replacements. Still wish I didn't have to though!
J is going to his play-mates house for 24 hours, including a sleep over. 24 hours without him around! I'm going to love it, but I'm going to miss him and I'm going to love having him back! But at least I can sleep through the night... but I bet you I'll still wake up at 3.30 am and wonder why he's not crying for his milk, or go in to get him on the Tuesday morning.... betchya I do

Sorry for the lack of posts - we've been somewhat ill over May. James started out being ill, then I had it, then Nigel had it and we had most of May being ill
