My Memoirs Overseas

The Philippines 2006-2009

Long Time, No See!! UPDATE ON MY LIFE so far....

Well I'm back... and totally refreshed and rejuvenated from the summer! We have already flown back to the Philippines, sadly.

Correy (my sister) went off to college! *tear tear* Southwestern in Austin.

So my new favorite bands are :
Kings of Leon
(songs)
-Taper Jean Girl
-The Bucket
-King of the Rodeo

System of a Down
(songs)
-Lonely Day
-Chop Suey

Favorite new music era: 1980's

My latest obsession: Shia LaBeouf

And my new favorite movie is : "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints"
^^^ AWESOME SOUNDTRACK!!!

Well this is RETARDED. my iPod got SQUISHED on the plane ride over here.... I'll elaborate later, but now I have to use my mom's old shitty iPod shuffle, TEMPORARILY until I figure out where and how to send that letter to Continental. and I have a feeling they either wont do anything/wont care, or wont read it.

French class is a douleur dans le derrière as usual. doing stupid coloring.... waiting for our first crossword.

and my social science teacher found out i wanted to be a director so now i'm the stage manager of "beauty and the beast" *fall musicale! Julia should get the part of Belle, shes good!*

speaking of julia........ shes prolly one of my better friends.... cuz shes in a lot if my classes, and she doesnt ignore me, but in science it seems likes shes always looking at what im writing. oh well, we aren't doing anything important yet anyways. and now i sit with the "coolish kids".... lol

And before we got assigned seats on the bus, the first day of school, my bus had ONLY koreans on it!! SERIOUSLY im not even exaggerating!!! then the second day, i got there a bit late, and there was no open seats so i had to sit in the back-back, and there was only one seat left back there so i was lucky. BUT to the point of this story.
I had to sit next to a guys named Andrea, hes in 11th grade, and is South African, he was really fun to tlk to, but it sucks hes not on my bus anymore. :'( now im stuck with the Koreans again...... Not that I have anything against Koreans!!! A couple of my best friends are Korean, but most on my bus are like ESL 4 (barely ANY English) so its kind of a bland conversation...
Me: Hi, I'm Hayley.
??: Hi.. I'm Sarah.
Me: How are you liking Brent?
Sarah: Good.
(Sarah goes back to reading a Korean book)
exciting huh?

well all is boring here and Daisy is sitting in the computer room with us. and we just had sandwitches, but theres a twist.... as usual.
Dad brought some pandasal (REALLY GOOD local bread) rolls up with sausages and mustard on them.
so i ate two and they were spicy.
so taking my first bite into my 3rd, he says, "Spicy SPAM is pretty good huh?"
i just about gag mid swallow......
I CAN'T believe he fed me SPAM!!!!! EW *shivers*

so now i'm trying not to think about it so i dont barf......

well thats about as much excitment that happens here....

so... i think ive tlked enough....
