Scam emails-STOP IT!

, ,

It is so annoying every time I opened my personal mail in yahoo (and in my google and mail.com as well) that those unsolicited "next of kin" offers keep filling my inbox! E-mail scams too are on huge bulk! And deleting those stuff each time I opened my account is worth messing my day! WTF! I can't withstand this online drawback of having an email. I know I've been posting my email with a number of sites I visited. I'm a peevish person so I know when to display my email on chosen and trusted sites! Having an email account might be one of the perils of being online.

Stardust: A Review

, , , ...

A team mate really fascinated my mood when she suggested that I should watch this magic and love-driven summer movie, Stardust! Well, each movie I guess always has its own story of love and romance. It's always part of it. Hmmm, obviously my next review. You know, I'm a bit bias. I make reviews or say, online summaries if I recommend the films. I'm an advocate of good movies! And readers of this site should also see what I see! That's how I love ya'll cyberpals! Remember, if you love the person, you are willing to share your food that you think is delicious on your taste buds. Right? So, here's the soup before the main course.

stardust.jpg

This fantasy film is based from the best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman originally published by DC comics as it evolves in the village of England called Wall that is divided by walls that separates the mysterious and forbidden land from the common villagers. From the novel, it is illustrated by Charles Vess and directed by Matthew Vaughn. The cast are Charlie Cox (Tristan); Claire Danes (Yvain, the falling star); Sienna Miller (Victoria); Michelle Pfeiffer (Lamia, the wicked witch); Peter O’Toole (dying King); Nathaniel Parker (Dunstan Thorne,Tristan's father); Kate Magowan (Una, Tristan's mother); Mark Strong (Septimus); Ricky Gervais (Ferdy the fence); Robert De Niro (Captain Shakespeare).

Personally, I kinda recommend the movie! It's not just for kids, but it's a queer-friendly movie that fortifies the momentum of a drag queen. This is entailed when Captain Shakespeare who happens to be "notorious" ship captain is a closet queen. He is conscious on his reputation and got lots of talents! Well, queers are known for it! lol  You would find yourselves laughing and giggling throughout the screenplay. Having your friends, co-workers, family, sweethearts or date with you is a plus! A child-friendly movie as well! No explicit content! And so, so, so, hail to the queers! Our life just proves that we live in an extravaganza colorful role in the society. The funny queer scenes in the film is a spice to the main course! And I think that's why it is destressing to watch it!

The extraordinary romance of the movie shows that true love finds it way in search for a falling star! A young man, who is Tristan has promised to seek for the falling star and bring it to his then beloved, Victoria, the conventional village beauty who persuaded him to present it as her birthday gift in return for her love! Poor boy! A slave for love. But it came to a twist that Tristan got enamored with the falling star itself, Yvaine who glows when she's emotionally inspired feeling the warm embrace of the young man. I can't just imagine, if we would be stars, then it's obvious that we are inspired aside from the blush bliss!

Tristan is the offspring of the commoner, Dunstan Thorne and Una (the captive princess of Stormhold) who happens to be the slave of the witch Ditchwater Sal. The young Dunstan in his testosterone-driven age, unprevented, eagerly escaped from his village and went to the forbidden land where he found Una! He made love to her and after nine months, he got an unforgettable token, the baby boy, named Tristan! The product of an impulsive one night stand in which one forgets his inner being. The union of a royalty and an ordinary lad pave it's way to a new born heir of the Kingdom of Stormhold. It is the same American or Western movie in the modern time. Boy meets Princess or College Girl meets Prince! Sort of those like teenage films. Showing that love happens unexpectedly. No matter what, even the distance is light years!

I can't really make a detailed story of it. Leave it to the theaters. lol  Just my own review. I want you to watch it for yourself. The queer recommends it!

The end of the movie is of course the fairy tale cliche tag line: And they live happily ever after!

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry-My Review

, ,

This would be my third time to write a movie review in my blogging world. That's what I thnk. Read thoroughly on what movie I'm talking about. Here's the catch: In our modern world today where taboos of the past centuries are quite accepted already in the public, same sex affairs are still debatable and controversial to people who are close minded on this raging issue. But the movie is different. Not that I'm bias. Obviously, hmmm. It is funny and sensible. It doesn't really divulge fully on homosexuality. It conveys freedom and personal preferences on one's life. And as well as partnership. Shall I say, it's a safe and clean entertaining tool for those stressed out people and still on identity crisis (highly recommended).

Few sentences are already mentioned and I haven't revealed the full movie title. It is " I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY ". The movie is starred by Adam Sandler (Charles 'Chuck' Levine), Kevin James (Lawrence 'Larry' Valentine), Jessica Biel (Alex McDonough, lawyer of the twosome).

The plot: Two straight, single Brooklyn firefighters (Sandler, James) pretend to be a gay couple in order to receive domestic partner benefits.

As the plot say so, the story is about "partnership" for a reason of love for Larry's kids (pension beneficiares to be) after his wife's death (civic red tape issues). And well, how far would you go for friendship? For better or for worse, 'till death do you part? In speaking of being faithful and loyal, I guess you would. Won't you? This has what happened on the whole screenplay. It's a must-see movie for not just the chosen but for eveyone who have queer friends, sons, colleagues, and even queer haters! You would definitely enjoy the "punch lines". To mention, "that's FABULICIOS", "Zegxually", "it's a CIRCLE" (find out why?) and etc.

chuck_larry1.jpg

For those people who are still in apathy of queer issues and is taking it negatively, hey, we all have personal preferences and choices in life as well as relationships that we value. We live in this world not on our own and to judge people, but other human beings who does exist for us. The most important thing is love. And when you're in love, you're happy and if this planet is inhabited by happy people, then there would be no crimes! Though the movie features a different story. No intimate or disgusting love affair of the two men. The bottom line is, let no one judge other people. Keep yourselves private. Mind your own business when your not involve in it at all. Give others the peace they deserve!

If you haven't watched the movie, spend a dime, watch it now before it's too late. It's money-worth! I'm sure, you'll be laughing out loud! I swear!!!

Here's the synopsis link.
