So I have good and bad news. The good news is that my parents came to visit me last weekend because I had 4 days off (96). The bad news is that I had to personally be my dad's "ambulance driver" if you will. On Saturday we were out all day and when we got back to the hotel someone called 911 for my dad because he was having shortness of breath. I pulled my car around to the front behind the ambulance and went inside. He didn't want to go to the nearby hospital (.5 miles away) and instead insisted I take him to a military hospital. He is so stubborn! To make a long story short I took him to Ft Belvoir and from there he was transferred to Walter Reed in DC. He was dehydrated which triggered some of his current medical conditions. Poor guy has in the teens of medication for his multiple health problems. He was even affected by Agent Orange when he was in Vietnam and the government hasn't even gave him one cent. Anywho he is better now and back home so that's more good news.
I'm at work right now trying to pull out an all nighter.. first one ever lol. I have some work built up sadly. Back to work for me.. adios.

music, Illinois, The Kooks
So I went to see Illinois and The Kooks live last night.. and man were they outstanding. Illinois gave a phenomenal performance. Let's see.. The Kooks had a great night too except for their encore.. they closed with Sofa Song. How the hell can The Kooks close with the Sofa Song?!?! It's an outrage to me >:O!! Anyway I had a good time.. by myself. I bought my tickets 2 months ago I think and they became sold out so I had to go by myself. When The Kooks played Ooh La I felt so emotional because that was one of the first songs I heard off of your profile. The whole show in general brought back a lot of good memories and I'm very glad that I was a part of it.

I'm at work right now. I've been at work since 5 am and I got up an hour before that. This kind of bull shit is what makes me excited for May/June/July 2009. I'm tired of getting punished because other people can't do what they are supposed to. The past month+ has been nothing but drama in the office. Now I know why people start smoking and drinking when they are in the military. It makes perfect sense. So far this has been the worst year of my life. Stupid decisions, getting my heart broken to the point where I feel numb, drama out the ass, getting screwed over by friends and things of that nature. Tennessee lost their first football game in overtime because their kicker missed a short field goal. He got them to overtime by kicking a 48 yard (his personal record) field goal but he couldn't hit something that should've been so easy for him. Whatever.. they lost their first game last year and turned 180 degrees around right after. I like how my thoughts are all over the place when I write/type something. Anyways I will keep you updated.. adios ladies and gents.

As of late work has been terrible. I can't stand it anymore. We have new leadership and they totally suck. Pretty soon I will be the most senior one in the office.. well time spent working there that is. I've seen many many maaaany people come and go and the new cats are the worst I've seen so far. I can't wait till next June/July so I can get on with my life. I don't do shit these days but work, sleep and reflect on life. I used to draw and people would tell me I copied but of course I didn't. What else did I used to do.. hmm I used to read all the time. I even wanted to be a writer but quickly got over that. I used to enjoy a lot of things but I've lost touch with myself. I didn't know that much about music until she came along and changed everything. Sorry for wasting your time with my sentences going all over the place. I had all kinds of things to say but I'm sleepy and they all disappeared.
BTW I bought a rice cooker today and made some sweet sweet rice. Maybe I can feed some Young Folks with it..

I am so excited right now. I just received my shipment of anime that I ordered last Sunday. It consists of 13 series and 17 movies!! The following is my sweet list:

The last 12 came in one case named the Studio Ghibli Movie Collection. I don't know where to start..

Today has been very enjoyable. I haven't had the stress of working and college hovering over my shoulders and it feels so good. When I laid down for a nap my pillow smelled like a certain someone's hair when she didn't wash it and so I was stuck thinking about her. I couldn't sleep because I was happy. Next thing you know the show I was watching went off and Erin Brockovich came on. I was hit by a double whammy of memories but I was happy to experience them both. Peace

I just bought a ticket to see The Kooks and Illinois Sep 8th! Someone dear to my heart got me hooked last year and when I went to check out the latest shows on this website I use.. I saw that they just announced the show. Well being the guy I am bought the ticket right away haha.
