Installing Adobe CS3

When Adobe announced CS3 back in March, I was exhilarated. CS2 worked so-so on my Mac (it's not natively compatiable with Intel processors), so using Photoshop CS2 on it wasn't really a pleasant experience.
So yesterday I installed Adobe CS3. I've previously used the CS3 beta, but since I got such a good offer on the entire suite I couldn't resist it. The installation didn't really go very smooth though. It all started with me not being able to choose Photoshop in the list of programs to install.
I solved it by really making sure that I uninstalled the previous betas by going to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe installers and running the uninstallers. So, back for another shot. It all seemed to work well, until after the installer had run for about 20 minutes or so. Error. No apparent reason...
Goddamn it. So I Googled for a solution, and found this cleaner program. It promised me gold and green woods, so I run it. And voilá. Now I have a full Adobe CS3 installation!
Sometimes things aren't as easy as they seem.

I use CS2 for the past 1 year now and am very happy with it. But I want to know if I switch from CS2 to CS3 will it be a completely new thing for me or the things on CS3 are easy there?
