All work and no play makes Alex a sick boy.

So I’m home sick again. This time it’s a virus in my throat. I’ve had high fever and a relentless pain in my throat all weekend. It’s horrible. My brother is the probable cause of infection. I was home all weekend and he felt ill on Saturday. It had passed on Sunday, but that’s when my issues started.
So other than my illness, what’s been keeping me busy? Well firstly, I’ve quit Gamepad. The reason for that is that I didn’t like where the project was headed. My initial thought was that it was to be small and agile, something which the others didn’t really seem to agree with. At least not with the small thing. So I and William (the other designer) quit, and started a project of our own.
That’s right – I’m not giving up on my original vision. The new project’s name is div9, and will be is featured on div9.se. It’s still in Swedish (sorry guys), and we’ve come really far. Further than we got with Gamepad in like two months. I’m in charge of the design, and William is in charge of the coding this time. The reason for this is that the code is to be written in PHP, which I know nothing about. We help each other out as much as possible though.
And he’s a great person to work with, William. Especially since we have the same ideas and thoughts about nearly everything. In other words; no more arguing about trivial stuff such as hierarchy.
Then there’s school. I wrote the Navigation test last week, which I didn’t pass (to my great shame, it wasn’t even hard) and the Principles of Flight test today, which I did pass. So now there’s only one test left before summer holiday. Wow, it hits me every time I think about it… less than two weeks left.
Well, now I’m off to draw some more on div9. The forum’s up next.
Take care.
Oh, and the song of the day is Mama Cass - One Way Ticket.
