In Queretaro we have one of the most modern and efficient bus stations in the country, and probably in the world, it looks entirely as an airport, it has Wifi, VIP rooms, and everythign you find in an airport, but it's for buses, and you can travel almost anywhere using the bus terminal.

Also we have an International Airport, which has fligths to Houston, Cancun, Mexico City and Monterrey, but almost nobody uses the airport, it is smaller than the bus terminal, why???

Well the cost of a flight from Queretaro to Monterrey is $600.00usd, Mexico City is just about two hours by car from Queretaro, and the fligh cost about $130.00usd, so everybody prefers to drive or take the bus, Houston flights are the only ones with a fair fare, and the only ones manage by a foreign airline, Continental, it's about $110.00usd. That is why many, many people prefer a 9 hour bus trip of $30.00usd to Monterrey, the cost of Monterrey flight is the same as if you flight to Europe using a cheap airline.

Right now there are 3 airlines preparing flights to and from Queretaro, and at low prices the companies are Alma, VivaAerobus and RepublicAir, with fares from $30.00 to $100.00 for a flight from Queretaro to Monterrey, six times cheaper than the actual air-theft Aeromar, I'm finally going to use Queretaro's airport.

Right now is so expensive that my father prefers to ride two hours to Mexico city to take a plane to Monterrey.
