Mobile, Phone, mexico, Technology
...
In Mexico we have a lot of mobile phone users, half the country has a mobile, and actually the main carrier is a mexican carrier and it is the fifth largest carrier in the world (America Móvil) with operations from the US to Argentina (with different names in every country).
And since 2002 there is a mexican company that develops and made mobile phones too, it has really great models with impressive capabilities at really affordable prices. The name of this company is ZONDA, it sounds like chinese right!, but not, it is mexican, and they develop the mobile completly, from concept to construction. They sold some models to an italian carrier to be rebranded.
Their first models the DIVAZ made for women... it was a success.
The latest model is the MPTREZ (which is MP3 with a Z insted of an S) is a mobile that was launched last year it has almost all screen and only a few keys, I think the tendency is to remove keys, it is a 1GB memory phone with miniSD slot and MP3 and MP4 capabilites. They are going to lauch in Mexico a new mobile with a digital camera of 7mp with optical zoom, and a camcorder mobile of 3mp. Things that usually are launch only in Japan or Korea... and the price is going to be a fraction of those made in Japan or Korea.
You can see more about them and this model:
