Remembering 2006

Ok, new year 2007, and what happend in 2006... well a lot of stuff to me and to my country and friends:
- I started the year (2006) with my first real job, all my previous jobs where half time
- I travel completly alone for the first time in my life, and to Mexico City, the city of crime (nothing happend to me)
- My brother is getting married, he give my future sister in law the ring, after 9 years
- The World Cup!!!
- Mexico does the same thing in teh world cup, when it is going to be our time!!??
- Elections... hate that, politicians are full of lies (all of them)
- I receive my first "reparto de utilidades" (distribution of utilities) if the company where you work has profits, they MUST give the employees 10% of all the profits (according to law)
- I travel for the first time to Europe
- I receive my first christmas bonus
- I receive my first savings fund
- Lots of first times things in work! (my first job, remember)
- I spend almost the entire year without vacations for the first time, in 2005 I had 5 months of vacations!
- I paid taxes of my own!!
- The city goverment built a new road to my house
- The state goverment arrenge the pyramid in my town, so you can come a see it clear and nice.
- I knew a lot of great new friends, and spend great time with my already friends.
- The first plane trip with my friends, we can afford it now!!, we work
- I was able to buy expensive presents to my family in christmas for the first time...
- My grandmother (mom's side) died at 76 (love her very much, and miss her a lot)
- I traveled a lot, and had the chance to visit for the first time in my life Guadalajara, and being in alone trips to Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Veracruz, Mexico City, and other places...
If I remember something else, I'll publish it.
But belive me, tons of great stuff, great year, the good thigns where GOOOOOOD and the bad things where good to, because I experience and learned from them.
I'm still happy, and planning to be happy, it is my primary goal in life, not money, not fame... HAPINESS!
