My OperaPalm centro cost... TOO MUCH

I was reading that the Palm Centro was selling as hot cakes, the cheapest smartphone and that Palm did almost no profit from it, so I thougt to myslef,s I search on the web and that thing cost in the USA $99.00 usd, good price!, so I went to a store here in Mexico look for it and it costs $400.00 usd, FOUR TIMES MORE!!! the usual is that the things cost here twice as much as in the USA, not four times, I paid for my camer $500 usd while in the US it cost $310, for my phone $500 usd USA while in europe (is not for sale in the USA) costs 250 euros.
They are crazy if they planned to sell that thing at that price, it is way too expensive, I think if Apple keep the promise of $200 usd for the iPhone (in Mexico), they are going to eat the market. The average phone cost here $150 usd, few people buy it with a plan. They call this the "Amigo" phones, when you buy it without subsidy, is even common to ask "do you have it in AMIGO?"
The good thing is that it is unblocked.
