I get third

I'm always entering in photography contests, never won before, but this time I get third place, I know it is a nice way to say I lost, but I get a price, consisting of a book to learn photography (is there any other way to say you are not good enough... yet) and a small book of the best photos of the century.

It feels nice to think somebody liked my photo enough to at least give me the third place, the jury was formed by a professional photographer, a photography teacher, a graphic designer and a painter.

Camera, Photography

The guys at the Canon store in Queretaro (the one in Tec 100) called me yesterday before noon, they told me they already had my camera ready to go!, that is a day earlier than expected, I leave my office an literally ran to get it. I was so exited, just like a kid in christmas.

My new camera is here, and it is gorgeous it has a great zoom 12x optical 4x digital, giving a grand total of 48x, which is what I wanted, lots of zoom, and it is 6MP since I'm not a billboard printer it is fine for me.

Finally I'll be posting photos from a camera, rather than only from my phone, although my phone probe to be a great camera, totally recommended phone the K790i from Sony Ericsson, 3.2MP and real xenon flash. but no optical zoom.

OK, this is showoff post, I'm showing off my new camera to everybody... (with childish voice) I HAVE A NEW CAMERA!!! I HAVE A NEW CAMERA!!!

It is better than previous camera, my previous camera was 6x zoom 4x digital 4MP and 6MP with interpolation or something like that.
