The governor of the mexican state of Veracruz believes he is in the mid 20th century. when all governments (in mexico at least) censored all the media, and anybody who dared to challenged the censorship ended jobless and penniless (if lucky). Recently somebody uploaded a music video using a famous soundtrack cover "quiero que me quieras" in spanish from the song "I want you to want me" hte video is called "Yo te vi, yo te vi, robando" making reference to a part of the song (changed a little bit), using images of the governor.

It is amazing that this governor asked the IFE (Electoral Body in Mexico) to ask Youtube to delete this video, because it damaged his image, yeah! right blame the video!... he is a politician, show me a politician whit a clean image, nothing to hide, it is impossible, some are cleaner than others, but that is all, also they are public figures, and so as there are people who are going to support him there are people who don't like him, that is politics and democracy, so get use to it, it has arrive, and WE (the people) want it to keep it.

You can search on Youtube and find a ton of videos that attack and support different politicians, and from diferent countries, the Obama girl, all the Sendero del Peje youtube videos, just write the name of the politician or political party.

Instead of trying to censor Youtube, clean your image, if that is not possible, let it pass and resign from political life.

Since all this happened the video became even more popular and appeared in many more sites over the internet, and there is a response to his failure "censorship"

I receive an email, typical chain, but I find it funny, because nobody likes the politicians here in Mexico, they do everything in their hands to be less loved.

An armed group has kidnapped an entire group of congressmen from PRI, PAN, PRD and Green Party, they are asking for 1 million dollars for the release if they don't get the money before 24 hours they will cover the congress men in gasoline and set fire on them.

We are making a collect and we need you, so far we have:
580 liters of normal gasoline
320 liters of premium gasoline
125 liters of diesel
75 liters of white gasoline

After examples and fights in the congress that show all mexicans that our congress men were not able to agreed on anything, they are always complaining... Suddenly they surprised us all, they agreed on something, which topic?? the much needed labor reform?, the health care reform?, the media reform?, the tax reform?... NO they agreed on smething different, their salaries, they give themselves a generous extra $18,000.00 pesos per month ($1,500.00 usd), so they have now a salary of $148,446.00 pesos which is like $13,495.00usd per month MONTHLY, while the minimum wage is less than $500.00usd

The worst part is that they aproved an increment of the minimum wage of 4% just the inflation, they should live with the minimum wage, in order to truly understand the conditions in which the people live. The day the congress men get the same salary than the people and their sons go to public schools and use the public health care system, that day I'm going to say out loud that WE ARE THE WORLD POWER AND AN EXAMPLE TO THE UNIVERSE.

Many of our overpaid congress men rarely show to work at the congress, many empty spaces are evident in congress tv channel, and worse, many of the present ARE SLEEPING!! plus they can say that all their daily expenses where part of their congressional work and so the federal goverment pay for those too!
