The National Geographic Traveler Magazine has a rating for all touristic places and Queretaro was ranked as 13th in the world, 2nd in latinamerica and 1st in Mexico.
This rating is not based in the number of visitor per year, but instead for what the place has to offer and the quality of everything.
You can check the rating in: traveler.nationalgeographic.com

Bus, queretaro, Airport, Terminal
...
Acording to stats from the Bus Terminal, there are 50,000 people using it daily in this spring break, which means, 350,000 passenger in just one week, Queretaro's Airport transports 250,000 people per year... Now I get it, that is why our airport is that small, and the bus terminal is one of the biggest and most modern in the country.
I hope this change, lower airfare rates and better airport service with more destinations, this means that plane is still too expensive to the average mexican, like me, I use the bus a lot!

Temple, Tourism, queretaro
Santiago de Queretaro is probably one of the cities with more churches per capita in the world, but not because of the quantity there is no quality, since it is also home of many of the most beautiful churches in Mexico.
One of this is "El Carmen" built by the friars Carmelitas.
I took the photos of the plaza, you can explore it using Quicktime engine in your browser.

An imported touritic tradition from Europe, mainly, the
living statues, I saw them mainly in Barcelona, in Spain, there in the Rambla every five meters you see two of them on each side of the street. Here in Queretaro I have seen only three of them, and not at the same time.
I like them, find them funny and interesting, and another touristic attraction.
