Gallos Blancos of Queretaro lost the first match, not a very good news for a team that needs to do a lot of points to stay on the league.
Many sports news sites and papers (even tv) say the other team was given a free penalty shoot that tied the game. That may be true, but that is not a reason to not give all the effort to win, there are bad referees but that is not a reason not to win, no matter the bad referee you have to give everything to win, if there are goals there is nothing the referee can do.
So C'mon! gallos don't look for excuses, look for goals.
Today Queretaro's Gallos Blancos won the right to place in the premier league in Mexican Football League, the match was against Merida's Venados, Merida is located in the mexican state of Yucatan, in the southeast, near Cancun.
It is great! So I'm having Premier League Football at home once more!
I'm hoping the best, and the FEMEXFUT hopefully will be doing it's job right, not based in money and corruption only, thinking of the sports.
I want to clarify a ver good question made by the AP people in Mexico.
Why people die for swine flu in Mexico and not in other countries?
There are two main reasons.
1. In Mexico the minimum wage is $4usd per day, so going to the doctor (private practice) is quite expensive, and social health is quite a pain in the *... so people who can afford a medicine go to the drugstore an buy something and self medicate, or in the worst case, try to cure himself with teas and infusions (chicken soup), when that doesn't work, they go to the doctor, and it is too late.
2. The public hospitals are crowded, if you are lucky you will receive attention after three hours of wait, and the attention is taken in a few minutes, where the overworked doctor ask the patient "what do you have?" and the silly patient answers "my throat hurts" so the doctors check it quickly to see it is red and give them a medicine, or tell the patient which medicine to take, which is wrong most of the time. So a lot of patients are misdiagnose, receiving medicine they don't need, and not getting well, they visit the doctor several times until he (by a stroke of luck) gives the correct diagnose, sometimes the patient died before that.
In private practice, the problem is almost the same, the doctor asks, then checks a little bit and give a medicine, that can be right or wrong, then charges you with a bill of $40.00 usd (10 days of work) or sometimes asks the patient to take a few test to find out what is the problem, gives the patient a medicine to stop the symptoms, the patient feels better because the medicine stops the symptoms and since medical studies are way to expensive he decides not to continue, after all he feels fine now.
Also I was witness of the next case, in a private hospital the nurses give the patient the wrong medicine, which cause the patient to suffer even more, and he was submitted to two surgeries and not a sign to improve, until the doctor find out the nurses were giving the wrong medicine. That hospital is the "Hospital de la Santa Cruz" in Queretaro.
In case of flu cases in my city and state, so far none, zero cases, there where 30 people who presented symptoms, but it was a common flu. Still I'm wearing a mask, cleaning my hands a lot, and not greeting people.
The city government built and opened in last week a new theme park in the city, the theme "Independence and Revolution" very patriotic, instead of seeing a giagantic cartoon character you see the statues of mexican heroes, instead of the magic castle of wathever, you see a replica of the house of the Corregidora were the independence movement was born, replicas of colonial buildings, and other stuff.

In Mexico there are many people from many parts of the world, including people from central and south america, many of the came here because it is in the way to the USA, but stay, because they couldn't make it to the border, or may be because they find a way of living here.
In the mid and late 90's a lot of people came from Brazil and Argentina, I remember having brazilian classmates when in Junior high, but due to the lack of compatibility of the education systems they where far older, I was 14 years and them were 18 (ready to college) it was nightmare to them (I guess)
Also we see the opening of brazilian restaurants in the city, and the opening of Capoeira schools (this is one of the schools) they perform in public every weekend, why?, I don't know. The students are mexican, and they need to learn fight, dance, sing, and to play an instrument.
5 de Mayo in the city of Santiago de Queretaro is one of the main streets in the historic district in downtown, this street has many restaurants and other venues and leads to the government plaza, where the state government is located.
From the "Santa Cruz" church to the "JardÃn Zenea" this is what you will see.
Once more Gallos Blancos has proven is the best team of Primera A, and worthy of Primera (Premier League in Mexico) and got a pass to the final, beating in a global 3-2 against Tijuana's Xolos
The final will be played in two matches, one in Queretaro's Corregidora Stadium and the other in Irapuato's stadium for the Freseros (strawberry growers)
I can see them as champions, and once more in the primera, this time with a bigger fan base than before, and if in Primera A Gallos has proven to be a good business team (making profits in ticket sales and all the things) the Femexfut will let them play in Primera and prove that they belong there.
Small recountof history:
- Femexfut in 2004 decided to reduce the number of teams in Primera so they decided to move Gallos Blancos and Irapuato to Primera A, even thought they wheren't the worst teams, in fact Queretaro was in a very good position in the table. - Femexfut in 2007 decided to change rules, the ruled was changed in the middle of the season, and it affected Queretaro once more, this was done to protect Pumas to decend since they have a larger fan base, and to protect Santos Laguan whose owner is Modelo (Corona Beer producer) a big sponsor of "all" the teams and femexfut itself.
