super stuff buddy...really impressive...yes

Z1-AV69 Sunday, March 7, 2010 12:33:02 AM

Thats from Microsofts visual style. I'm using a custom visual style for windows (you can find a link in the sidebar) that changes how windows look.

Ðноним writes: I close tabs by middle mouse button. I turn off close buttons on tabs. I think minuses in right parts of tabs appeared in v2.40 are unnecessary for my settings. In youtube video time draw like aero and it is difficult for reading. Thanks for theme!

Nimetön writes: Problem with Z1-Glass 2.5 on Vista: Speed Dial background not transparent. If I set a bg picture, it goes transparent but after closing opera it just shows the picture I set. If I then remove the picture, the bg goes white.

With the latest snapshots you have to select "use background picture" but leave the the field for defining a picture empty. This seems to be a bug, but currently there is no other way.

Anonymous writes: 2.60 has a bug with Opera 10.60 if multiple tab rows are enabled (Customize -> Appearance... -> Toolbars -> Wrapping = "Wrap to multiple lines"). The menu button shifts down and overlaps the first tab on the second row of tabs. If that tab is selected, the Menu button falls behind the tab and becomes unclickable until all tabs on all rows below the first are closed. I'm not sure, though, if this is a bug with Z1-Glass or with Opera 10.60 itself.

This seems to be a bug with 10.6 because it happens with the standard_skin too.

Brag0n writes: I've come across a small problem in you skin though that would be amazing if you were able to fix. When opening *.pdf files with opera, the text in the document is ethereal which makes it a real pain to read (at least for people with light backgrounds). Would this be possible to fix somehow?

Z1-AV69 Friday, August 13, 2010 2:18:45 PM

@Brag0n: I would love to fix it, but I can't. The bug is from Operas way to implement the full transparency and would need a fix within the Opera browser. Unfortunately the devs didn't find an easy fix yet.
As a workaround you can let .pdf open with the reader application instead of the plugin. You can find the setting in "preferences>advanced>downloads", where you can search for "pdf" and edit the settings.

Anonymous writes: Theres seems to be an issue with flash and transparency. On sites that requires flash such as youtube the black text appears transparent and is rather hard to read. Do you have any intentions on fixing it?

Z1-AV69 Friday, September 3, 2010 8:19:41 PM

It's the same issue as discussed the posting above, but there is no workaround for flash.

Z1-AV69 Monday, September 13, 2010 4:57:58 PM

It works only with Win7 or Vista and Aero enabled.

Hey, with the last dev-build (11.00 build1094) of Opera there is a slight issue with the address bar: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8608/bugz0r.png

Wondering if you will be fixing this, or will wait until final release?

Z1-AV69 Saturday, November 20, 2010 12:56:17 PM

Personally I use only snapshots, therefor I rarely wait for a final. But I don't have the time to update all my skins immediately for any snapshot like I do with Z1-Glass. Regarding Z1-TEN you can expect an update soon, I didn't look into it for too long...

Hello,
i have a big problem with your current Z1-Glass Skin.
The letters are white and you can't read them in a Flash-Application.

Анонимно writes: IMO borderless buttons sux. I've downloaded 11.50 RC4 and few seconds after opera starting, I started DLing ur skin hoping to get the same stylish and modern interface I have in my 11.10 with Z1-Glass 3.13, but these buttons do feel like a kindergarten. I can't stand it. Please, make an alternative version with old-style buttons. Thank you.

Z1-AV69 Monday, June 27, 2011 8:15:10 AM

Oh dear, my feelings are quite the opposite. I'm glad they switched to borderless and made icons to work with it. I wont be able to maintain several versions of skins. But it's actually not too difficult to modify a skin to your needs. Maybe you should learn it for your more exotic needs? Thats how I started too...
