Cleaning out my Closet

Do you know that kind of chores you just keep pushing in front of you, and never really get done?
"I can always do it tomorrow, or maybe even Monday!"
"It in't so important to do it exactly today, it can wait for a while."
"It's no rush at all!"

This is how I felt when I thought about cleaning out my shoe closet. I have been wanting to do it for a very long time. But it was all talk and no action. And suddenly it was a problem; I bought new ones, and I hadn't room for them in my closet, which means they ended in their boxes on my floor. Not acceptable in the long run!

So I have done it now. I took out all the shoes and boots in there, sorted them, and piled them up in two heaps: One to keep and one to trash. Then I arranged all the kept shoes and boots nicely back into the closet, so it's easy for me to find just the pair of shoes I want to wear.

I threw out 6 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots. *sniffles*

I celebrated it by going out and buy a new pair of black boots, instead of the ones I threw out.

Oh yes, and I counted all my shoes and boots too. Now, take a guess. How many do you think I have? And it's all of them, including flip flops, rubber boots, motorcycle boots, everything?!

It must have been a painful process of getting rid of few pair of old (?) shoes/boots awww
Before or after cleaning? What do we get as a present if we guess good? P:

I guess 692 complete pairs (505 pairs of shoes and 187 pairs of boots) and 1 shoe that didn't belong in any of the pairs. :happy:

Maybe a picture of the closet will make it easier to count guess how many shoes you have. :whistle:

Awww, poor you awww. But doesn't it feel good to make place to new ones? I like those boots :up:.
One of my shoe closets is back to chaos again. And I suppose it doesn't help that I bought two new pairs last week :whistle:

I'm guessing somewhere around 80-90 pairs (before the throwing out) :D.

But I had to count them more than once, because I tried to sort them and count them and sort them at the same time at first. :lol:

Okay, it's time to reveal the answer to the question.

I now officially have 50 pairs of shoes. :hat:

Darko was closest with 56 pairs, Kimmie was second with 58 pairs, and third was Eric with 63 pairs.

I hadn't expected such a wide range of guesses, from 15 pairs to 692½ pairs! :lol:

50 is all included, which means I've had about 75 pairs before I started cleaning out. It's just a few months ago I threw out some other ones.

And yes, that's an awful lot. But I just love shoes. :D

She didn`t said before or after!!! So since 56 is closer to 50 than 75 to 90 ( :whistle: ) get off my cookes :mad:

I really don't know what's up with shoe the thing.. :confused: i've got a couple pairs sneakers, some boots then sandals.. Oh and some formalwear shoes.. 50 is way too much :ko:
