Kitty's Corner

I want a mouse!

,

I was surfing around the other day, when I suddenly saw something that caught my attention. A mouse. A mouse on a bicycle to be more specific.

You plug it into your USB and every time you type, the mouse starts bicycling. The faster you type, the faster it goes. And at the end of the day you can see how much you typed on the display.

How can anybody live without such a mouse! :D

I want one, too!

Kitty 2. March 2009, 05:21

:D

I think I'll go down to my local gadget store to see it for real!

Stardancer 2. March 2009, 05:22

Phantom2 2. March 2009, 05:34

That is so cool!
The mouse looks a little demented though!

Angeliki 2. March 2009, 05:36

WANT!!!!!

I love it! I wish he can loose weight for me while he exercises too!!

Darko 2. March 2009, 05:47

 I have seen USB gadgedts like this but not this one. On the other hand, my work on the computer is not that much "typing related" so mouse will be bored as hell P:

When I saw a title of this post I thought: of course she wants mouse, she is a kitten :D

Phantom2 2. March 2009, 05:56

I think I know someone who would love for me to have one around here watch!

Kitty 2. March 2009, 06:41

@ Phantom ~ I agree, it's not the smartest looking mouse in the world. :D I think you're right about who would be watching with great interest.

@ Angeliki ~ That would indeed be a positive side effect!
Do you think it bicycles backwards if you use the backspace? :D

@ Darko ~ I write quite a deal, so it would be fun here. I just checked, it comes in other variations too. Here's Mart, for instance:

Phantom2 2. March 2009, 06:43

  He would love that!

Carol 2. March 2009, 07:08

Kiran 2. March 2009, 07:23

The mouse seems to have already lost so much weight.I joked on weight on Kerstin's blog and she deleted me from her friends list.

Kitty 2. March 2009, 07:43

Thanks Carol.

@ Kiran ~ I agree, it's a pretty skinny mouse. He must belong to someone who type a lot. :D

Darko 2. March 2009, 07:46

KYren, you must be careful when commenting about THAT. A very sensible topic....

Carol 2. March 2009, 08:07

What has been your number at the end?
You are welcome.

theoddbod 2. March 2009, 08:15

:eyes:

Darko 2. March 2009, 08:23

Run Mart, run :D

But not too fast :insane:

r♡se 2. March 2009, 08:33

 Darko!

It's a cool little thing. As long as the boss doesn't get any ideas... p:

Darko 2. March 2009, 09:05

Well, if you are a boss.... :D

Kitty 2. March 2009, 09:33

@ Carol ~ My number at the end?

@ Mart ~ Let me guess: It's your cousin?

@ Darko ~ We can make him run...

@ Rose ~ If she gets ideas, I will buy one for her as well.

Aadil 2. March 2009, 09:34

I wonder if there's a bluetooth version for mobile phone's? :whistle::lol:,

Kitty 2. March 2009, 09:34

Aadil, if there is, I want one for when I sms!

Kiran 2. March 2009, 10:01

Gdare ok I won't comment on that topic next time.

Darko 2. March 2009, 10:14

:D

:sst: you know this is smart, don`t you :left:

Kimmie 2. March 2009, 10:35

This is a creepy plastic mouse :insane:

merlin! 2. March 2009, 10:37

Nice. =) I've seen a device that counts the number of shakes when you shake your leg unconsciously, you know, when you're thinking about something or when you're nervous. But the mouse is also nice =) Though I think the display with four figures would be too small, wouldn't it?

David Scott Aubrey 2. March 2009, 10:37

What an age we live in ...

Kiran 2. March 2009, 10:39

:D Yes,that's smart,gdare.

Aadil 2. March 2009, 11:01

It would rollover a thousand times a day!. Presumably, it's meant to encourage people to practice their typing skills. Probably aimed at children but today's kids will find it stupid..

Santa Furie 2. March 2009, 11:54

I ordered the Mart version but he escaped while I was commenting. awww.

Typical housecat. Wants a mouse, will do anything to get a mouse, then doesn't know what to do with it when she's got it.
p:

Santa Furie 2. March 2009, 11:56

Kiran, you joked about a woman's weight? :eyes: The man treaty of 1734 says we wont do that anymore as genital reattachment surgery is too expensive. Are you insane?

Kitty 2. March 2009, 11:57

I do too!

I would play with it... :left:

Darko 2. March 2009, 12:06

dɹɐzılpǝkɔıw ɐʞɐ ɹǝɥgɐllɐg lǝbɐsı 2. March 2009, 12:27

 at least the mouse isn't obscene...

Carol 2. March 2009, 13:24

"And at the end of the day you can see how much you typed on the display."

I know it said you were surfing the net, I just thought in my half awake mind that you bought one.

Nevermind. :D

Kitty 2. March 2009, 13:28

Ah, okay, now I understand Carol. No, I didn't buy any, but perhaps I will put one on my wishlist for my bday!

Issy, I don't even want to see the pictures that went through your head!

Carol 2. March 2009, 13:29

:D

Kiran 2. March 2009, 15:37

Homer: Doh! Yes,I called her obese but it was a joke. It's obvious that she is not coz she was dancing and jumping in the photo as a light weight person does.

Suntana 2. March 2009, 16:03

Yep, I'll bet you want a mouse ... a chocolate-covered mouse with 2 strawberries on top. :D I agree. The mouse looks a bit demented, kinda resembles Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

Yeah, that mouse is rather scrawny-looking. Since I type a lot, by the time I finished my weekly Post, there'd be a Shorts & Tank Top-wearing rodent skeleton on that bicycle.

Lovinmalamutes 2. March 2009, 17:46

What will they come up with next? This is a cool gadget, and I love cool gadgets. p:

Santa Furie 2. March 2009, 18:01

Found it now and commented. That's a bloody hilarious situation. Only you eh?

Kitty 2. March 2009, 18:25

@ Sunny ~
And you sure got me drooling here. Strawberries... mmmmm..... :yummy:

@ Issy ~ That is... ugly! :yikes:

@ Aadil ~ You're probably right about the kids would find it stupid. But I like it, even though the mouse does look a tad retarded. :D

@ Kiran ~ Well, the guys are right in this case.

I'll go check for the post. I'm curious.

Santa Furie 2. March 2009, 18:29

It's called Shebang!! which sounds vaguely pornographic to be honest.

Kitty 2. March 2009, 18:32

I found it.

I agree with your comment. But honestly. She did actually put out a warning sign with her first comment back, the "Weight?"-one. If he had backed there, he might have saved it.

I didn't find the joke very funny either though.

Kiran 2. March 2009, 18:39

I didn't know she was sensitive about her weight.:insane:
Now,that post will be the most visited post on oc.

Darko 2. March 2009, 18:45

You should`ve sent her PM, apologise and say everything you`ve said in comments there, and not make so much noise about it.
*shaking head*
Experience is sometimes very expensive.

Kiran 2. March 2009, 19:22

I wanted to but only friends can send her pms.

Darko 2. March 2009, 19:25

Yeah.... Sorry.

Santa Furie 2. March 2009, 19:32

Spoken by a man with female talon shaped scars. :D We all make mistakes like that at some point Kiran. Until we've suffered twice as much as they have, forgiveness isn't usually forthcoming.

A "friend" of mine thought it'd be funny to tell his girlfriend that her sister was better in bed... during sex... when he'd actually dated the sister. His admission was included in her suicide note. While this isn't as bad as that it's definitely a learning experience for you as much as it was for him.

All women are sensitive about their weight as they're constantly told they're worthless if they don't fit the impossible template set by magazines full of dangerously thin models who get airbrushed to make them even thinner. When someone challenges those stereotypes, as Kerst tries to with her feminism, a derogatory comment about weight can hit twice as hard especially if they don't fully believe in themselves over the stereotype. Find a woman with my ego and she'll still be a little hurt by a comment like that.

You've apologised continually though so there's not much else you can do. At worst you can chalk it up to a learning experience and get on with your life. No big deal.

Darko 2. March 2009, 19:35

What Mik said. Now stop whining P:
