Dear My Opera Team.

First, let me tell you how much I appreciate this community. I haven't had a blog anywhere else but here, so I can't tell you if you're better than the others. But since I started here, I didn't feel like trying some of the other platforms out. I like to blog here, and I like the options this community provide.

Having expressed my satisfaction with MyOpera in general, I have to point out a single thing.

We've had an update recently here on My Opera. People keep talking about how good it is that they changed the friends list issue, so people will have to wait for you to add you back before you appear on their friends list. Well, that's a good thing, but honestly I don't really care if strangers add me or not, as long as I have to add them back before they are able to see the friends only posts.

What annoys me a bit about the update is, that you haven't repaired the watchlist problem with photos in own albums. So if people comment on four pictures in my t-shirt album, I have to go through all 100 photos to find the comments. That is just not satisfactory.

So dear Team, next time you make an update, please fix this bug before you add new cool features, because it's really annoying for us who have big albums.

Check the latest post on the frontpage. They've just fixed that apparently. :coffee: Of course, it was really me who fixed it and sent them the code just to spite you after this post. :devil:

I think they're still bug-fixing at the minute. I've noticed a few errors and stuff - it's par for the course with a big update. Hopefully they'll sort everything out without too much problem :yes:

Still? Arse! They said it was fixed. :irked: Found another bug there. The mobile stylesheet now makes the stars invisible and larger than the photo itself meaning I have 5 pages to scroll down to comment.

I have a list of fixes that need to be fixed too. They say they will with the next update and that's been several updates ago. Still :wait:

I had to go to your about page, click on photos and then click on blog to get here :smile: Hope you hadnt blocked me..awww
Here is something for you, I get a comment on my photo, I click on the thumbnail and it takes me to the right photo in the album, not just to the album as it was before, I think this is progress. :yes:

..what's ennoing here is this: i have added you to my friends, i see now you didn't, :rolleyes:
don't bother :smile: , but ..i see i have a request for friendship when i go to your about page !! And..i can't delete that request :frown:

2) i can't see, anymore, if my friends are online or not...this is not a big deal, but i could, till now, to communicate first with those online...and get the answer immediately. I can go to EACH of them, to check if they are online...but that takes time !
3)for large albums==> make them shorter ==> t-shirts1, t-shirts2....t-shirts9 ..

I see everybody is cheering that the bug is fixed. Fact is, that it's not. It might be fixed so if you get ONE comment, then you will be lead to that comment. But I usually get comments on more than one photo at a time, leaving me searching through large albums for the comments.

As for the suggestion to split the albums up - it's not going to happen. This would be fixing the symptom, not the bug.

So please. Have it fixed.


I don't know why my side bar is missing now. I count on it coming back sometimes.

Fix the album bug first. Please.

Odd. I think it's just yours that's missing. :eyes: They're getting revenge for this letter. :lol: It'd be so simple to split the watches into this photo has comments, so does this one etc.

:lol: Mik.. Have you checked out the revamped Fank.ru? Only crap is I can't find the page where they list everything in alphabetical order and have to rely on the searchbar.. Worth the look dude. Or even a post if you're feeling perky :lol:

I gave up welcoming it back....


as for the photo albums,

I gave up responding to comments all together!
In some photo albums I removed the comment boxes too.
Too much work to find the 2nd and 3rd picture
and unless you are lucky it will appear in frond of you after 3 months... I don't like to seem that I ignore comments,
(which I never do), but
photo albums its for the very smart and
I am only an average guesser :smile:

I agree - this is really annoying. The weird thing is that if I'm notified of a new comment in another person's album - it'll redirect to the exact picture, but not if it is one of my albums... :confused:

@ Angeliki ~ I just hoped that this bug would with the album would have been fixed, since it has been there for so long. That's why I asked for that "instead of making new cool features", because I don't like to miss comments either, like you. :smile:

@ Rose ~ It's the same here.
And now I have a comment in an album, and no matter how many times I got to that album and see the comment, it's still there as a news item. :confused:
