International Women's Day
Sunday, 8. March 2009, 06:02:14
Today it's International Women's Day, a day where countries around the world celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women.I wanted to go to a debate today, but I just realized yesterday that I should have bought a ticket for it this Thursday. I thought I could just buy it at the entrance.
(- I do in fact have another event up my sleeve, but more about that later - I will blog about that.)
So, for now I'll just finish my morning bun, drink my milk, and relax.
I wish you all a happy Women's Day!

I think you should show support by getting in the kitchen, baking some buns and taking them down to the feminists. I wonder how many will thank you rather than accusing you of betraying all women by baking.

Good luck for a just cause, so that balance is achieved and the world can become a better place, less testosterone-soaked.
BTW, just a friendly warning, hands off MY testosterone...
Women's World Awards: Takes place this year in Austria, city hall of Vienna. Award winners are, amongst others, Monica Belucci and Anastacia. Seriously, what are their achievements, except from being beautiful and international successful artists?
This years main topic:
Picture: Ashley Judd?

@ Rose ~ Believe me, I had great fun. I took pictures too, and will make a post about it soon-ish. You'll like it, I am sure!
@ Mik ~ If they think I betray feminism by baking, it's probably the same lot of women who think feminism is about being angry at men for opening doors for them, or other genuine politeness.
@ DarkKnight ~ This years main topic here is the sex workers right to choose for themselves. (And of course especially female sex workers).
I like your comment, even with the testosterone!
