Of course, we already knew that you don't like Crocs but you can never repeat it too many times.
Haven't you forgotten to upload a certain picture?

@ Moe ~ I am just trying to spread the word. In fact, I think it was Rose who mentioned her hatred against them first, I am just joining in.
And no, I haven't forgotten. You should go first, remember?

I thought they were only for women.
I thought they were made of a very hard material.
I came across this guy wearing a pair of Crocs recently. I was like, "Whoa! You mean those are for guys too?" It was then that I saw that they were also made of a very flexible material, rubber I guess.
And yes, Zaph, this guy happens to be a nurse. So, maybe they ARE comfortable. Or at least for some reason hospital personnel seem to like them.
JenJavaen # Wednesday, April 8, 2009 3:28:17 PM
Trying to decide if they are better than those God-awful goat hair sandals Cois wrote about!
Jurjenjekav # Wednesday, April 8, 2009 6:55:51 PM
There are so many nice shoes, why but this shit? I really didn't and still don't understand why everybody bought that shit. Everyone must agree they are ugly, right?! I mean this is not longer a matter of taste is it? Okey they might be comfortable, since when is that a reason to buy something (especially not for women).
Now you know, everyone that didn't reply in this post definitely has crocs!

I have never worn such a pair, and I don't think I ever will, comfy or not - when it comes to shoes, I have certain standards.

@ Mr. Rinse ~ That is weird indeed. I don't think I've ever met a medium - and I wonder what she would say that I have been. :curious:

The thing with this kind of stuff is, you have to be prepared to hear things you don't want to hear, so in some ways it can be a 2 edged sword. Doesn't do to take it lightly, is all I'm saying.
But being a Cobbler in a previous Life is fine

I had a friend who visited someone who could read palms, and the woman scared the crap out of her, apparently seeing something very scary about her future, but not wanting to tell her what it is/was. She was sent off from there with "Only few people can escape their destiny. I hope so much that you're one of them!" Spooky indeed.
Flamingo Rinseflamingo-rinse # Friday, April 10, 2009 5:59:53 AM
BTW - that reader should have given details of what she saw, if she was so prepared to scare the crap out of your friend - who deserved more than that, to be honest
Dark FurieFurie # Friday, April 10, 2009 10:29:48 AM
Anyone who sends someone away because they're too scared with what they've seen is usually a fraud, trying to get some word of mouth advertising about themselves and drum up more business, because they can't actually see events just impressions.
There are rare cases where the palm reader is actually a psychic themselves, but people with that natural talent seem to be able to tune in only to a certain emotion (one might be able to see happiness in the future for example, and only happiness, not seeing the three life threatening diseases that someone will go through first or knowing that the happiness stems from coming out the other side of them) and someone who constantly sees horrors that others will go through to the point that they're scared by it wouldn't usually put themselves in a situation where they're consulted by people for a psychic reading that involves touching people. Most of those like that are actually shutaway from the world for their own sanity.

\\edit - lots of people who are, wouldn't say anything about it in a public forum, for fear of either ridicule or some kind of negativity - personally I'm not at all phased by that and I guess you're not either Mik

I became interested after there were a few animal mutilations in our town and the local newspaper did a smear job on a local wicca coven. I knew a few girls in there so I helped get a front page retraction and educational piece run.
