Moesring Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:30:33 AM

Of course, we already knew that you don't like Crocs but you can never repeat it too many times. yes

Haven't you forgotten to upload a certain picture? rolleyeswait

Dacotah Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:47:35 AM

I agree, they are really ugly.
bigsmile

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:49:09 AM

@ Marike ~ That's the spirit! yes

@ Moe ~ I am just trying to spread the word. In fact, I think it was Rose who mentioned her hatred against them first, I am just joining in. bigsmile

And no, I haven't forgotten. You should go first, remember?

Dacotah Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:49:27 AM

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:51:27 AM

Darn... that's still ugly! yuck lol

Dacotah Wednesday, April 8, 2009 5:53:48 AM

Dark FurieFurie Wednesday, April 8, 2009 8:14:54 AM

So very ugly. cry

Spaggyj Wednesday, April 8, 2009 9:30:16 AM

My Grum has a pink pair with flower sequins yuck okay, they're very comfortable for her poor feet, but I express my distate every time I see them. I DESPISE the fucking things :throws up:

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Wednesday, April 8, 2009 12:11:24 PM

Ugh! You have them too? I thought they were a plague around here only.

I think they are very unattractive!

Angelikiellinidata Wednesday, April 8, 2009 12:37:51 PM

ugly is a mild word in this case lol

Sadly some very gifted people wear them on a daily basis down
http://www.shoppingblog.com/cgi-bin/sblog.pl?sblog=523071

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:09:45 PM

If you go to the hospital here 9 out of 10 nurses wear them, and the doctors too. As if the patients weren't sick enough. awww

Angelikiellinidata Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:18:23 PM

cry

give some Italian shoes to the hard working nurses !

I wonder if an "athletes foot" developes in them too...

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:19:47 PM

I have had the same thought, Angeliki, since they look so much like plastic. But people who wear them (*shudders*) say they don't.

MarikeMarike79 Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:26:24 PM

That is why they got breathing holes lol for bad smells yuck

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:31:41 PM

Another good reason for not buying them! up lol

Angelikiellinidata Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:39:46 PM

lol

I never trust "foot statements" by people on crocs

bigsmile

Stomyr Wednesday, April 8, 2009 2:13:52 PM

xD

Suntana Wednesday, April 8, 2009 2:31:49 PM

I had 2 misconceptions about them until just recently.
I thought they were only for women.
I thought they were made of a very hard material.
I came across this guy wearing a pair of Crocs recently. I was like, "Whoa! You mean those are for guys too?" It was then that I saw that they were also made of a very flexible material, rubber I guess.
And yes, Zaph, this guy happens to be a nurse. So, maybe they ARE comfortable. Or at least for some reason hospital personnel seem to like them.

JenJavaen Wednesday, April 8, 2009 3:28:17 PM

lol They are fugly for sure, and make everyone's feet look bigger and wider. irked Never flattering.

Trying to decide if they are better than those God-awful goat hair sandals Cois wrote about!

Jurjenjekav Wednesday, April 8, 2009 6:55:51 PM

lol I fully agree, absolute awful!! Last summer they were quite popular over here yuck

There are so many nice shoes, why but this shit? I really didn't and still don't understand why everybody bought that shit. Everyone must agree they are ugly, right?! I mean this is not longer a matter of taste is it? Okey they might be comfortable, since when is that a reason to buy something (especially not for women).

Now you know, everyone that didn't reply in this post definitely has crocs! lol

merlin!pintavodki Wednesday, April 8, 2009 7:40:11 PM

Hm.. That's actually the first time I hear about those.. Crocs... worried And no, I was not living in a bunker for the last several years. bigsmile I guess they just haven't come to Russia yet...

jonpar Thursday, April 9, 2009 9:32:04 AM

lol

..i like your leg bigsmile

dɹɐzılpǝkɔıw ɐʞɐ ɹǝɥgɐllɐg lǝbɐsıwickedlizard Thursday, April 9, 2009 4:21:14 PM

lol

We have a plague of them here again! lol All the sailors seem to wear them!

pssst I have a pair... but I never wear them in public! As I normally walk around the house in socks, putting on shoes in a hurry to go outside for whatever, they're great, especially with my garden and grass. But I wouldn't be caught in public with them! lol They are comfy though!

Suntana Thursday, April 9, 2009 8:23:50 PM

I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that with Crocs being wide, they're really only for people with little feet. My BIG Size 10½ (USA) feet would probably look scary in Crocs. scared It would look like I was walking around in these HUGE Lobster Traps or something. lol Then again, if a Crap Load Ship Load of Sailors wears them, SOME of them have got to have Big Feet.

KittyliciousZaphira Thursday, April 9, 2009 8:25:27 PM

Thanks for all the comments, somehow I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who find them ugly!

I have never worn such a pair, and I don't think I ever will, comfy or not - when it comes to shoes, I have certain standards. bigsmile

Dacotah Thursday, April 9, 2009 9:05:45 PM

My daughter and I finds them ugly too. She tried them on and said they are comfortable. bigsmile

Flamingo Rinseflamingo-rinse Thursday, April 9, 2009 9:07:36 PM

I only really like very well made shoes - and I met a medium once, not so long ago, who looked into my eyes and said that I'd been a Cobbler in a previous Life. Weird. smile

KittyliciousZaphira Friday, April 10, 2009 5:06:48 AM

@ Carol ~ She didn't buy them, did she? yikes

@ Mr. Rinse ~ That is weird indeed. I don't think I've ever met a medium - and I wonder what she would say that I have been. :curious:

Dacotah Friday, April 10, 2009 5:24:56 AM

Nope, she just tried some on. bigsmile

Flamingo Rinseflamingo-rinse Friday, April 10, 2009 5:28:09 AM

@Pussy Cat - it's a very interesting experience. I know someone who reads palms too - it's very spooky indeed, I can assure you....(how interested are you??)

The thing with this kind of stuff is, you have to be prepared to hear things you don't want to hear, so in some ways it can be a 2 edged sword. Doesn't do to take it lightly, is all I'm saying.

But being a Cobbler in a previous Life is fine smile Happy with that cool

KittyliciousZaphira Friday, April 10, 2009 5:32:03 AM

How interested am I....? Hmmm... I don't know. I am a natural sceptic, I guess, but still curious enough to listen if people say they know things, you know.
I had a friend who visited someone who could read palms, and the woman scared the crap out of her, apparently seeing something very scary about her future, but not wanting to tell her what it is/was. She was sent off from there with "Only few people can escape their destiny. I hope so much that you're one of them!" Spooky indeed.

Flamingo Rinseflamingo-rinse Friday, April 10, 2009 5:59:53 AM

Yeah well - forewarned is forearmed. You *can* change it (your destiny that is, or 'escape' it if you prefer. But 'change'\'amend' would be the more accurate description, there's nothing fixed if it hasn't already happened) assuming the person who's reading you actually knows what they're doing, and you *listen*. It's not always spelled out in A's B's & C's.......smile

BTW - that reader should have given details of what she saw, if she was so prepared to scare the crap out of your friend - who deserved more than that, to be honest irked

Dark FurieFurie Friday, April 10, 2009 10:29:48 AM

Palm reading deals in generalities. It mixing these general impressions that can give a more detailed reading for the person. Not so much telling the future as telling a story based on what they know about the person and what general events they can see in the lines of the palm (children, romance, unrequited love, illness, travel, experience, etc).
Anyone who sends someone away because they're too scared with what they've seen is usually a fraud, trying to get some word of mouth advertising about themselves and drum up more business, because they can't actually see events just impressions.

There are rare cases where the palm reader is actually a psychic themselves, but people with that natural talent seem to be able to tune in only to a certain emotion (one might be able to see happiness in the future for example, and only happiness, not seeing the three life threatening diseases that someone will go through first or knowing that the happiness stems from coming out the other side of them) and someone who constantly sees horrors that others will go through to the point that they're scared by it wouldn't usually put themselves in a situation where they're consulted by people for a psychic reading that involves touching people. Most of those like that are actually shutaway from the world for their own sanity.

Flamingo Rinseflamingo-rinse Friday, April 10, 2009 10:38:50 AM

Agreed, generally. You interested\involved, Mik?? No agenda behind the question - just interested smile

\\edit - lots of people who are, wouldn't say anything about it in a public forum, for fear of either ridicule or some kind of negativity - personally I'm not at all phased by that and I guess you're not either Mik smile I ask *only* out of a genuine personal interest. My beliefs are already fixed in that direction & I have no need to argue or justify....so it's a genuine and friendly enquiry, that's all smile

jonpar Friday, April 10, 2009 2:16:00 PM

i hate them, frankly speaking left

Dark FurieFurie Friday, April 10, 2009 2:28:43 PM

I studied a few things along those lines in Uni as an optional side-course. I have a keen sense for people so I'm pretty good at seeing where most obscure beliefs come from. Having said that, some things defy an explanation from psychological disorders and have too much proof to be discounted.

I became interested after there were a few animal mutilations in our town and the local newspaper did a smear job on a local wicca coven. I knew a few girls in there so I helped get a front page retraction and educational piece run.

jonpar Friday, April 10, 2009 3:06:10 PM

a front page retraction and educational piece run

about the rubber shoes idea eek

JenJavaen Friday, April 10, 2009 4:55:35 PM

I have a hard time paying for fortune telling etc. So I never have. Had a co-worker who was a palm reader. Nailed it well, 'cept she did say I was materialistic, which is the opposite of what I am. So frugal.

My kid has much more stylish stuff than I likely ever will. lol And my car is 12 years old!

She freaked me out when she said I thought I was done having children, but nope!

At the time, I was like no But now, I could definitely see more. Funny how things change... bigsmile

MettePusilille Friday, April 10, 2009 7:11:53 PM

These crocs are really comfortable, but...wih!!! Yes, I do understand your assertion on the subject Smile18.com
I had to laugh seing that photo!! lol lol
