My cat is not particularly fond about the vacuum cleaner. She behaves as if it was a monster. It's kind of funny, because otherwise she is the coolest cat I have ever had or met, not scared of either strangers nor other cats nor anything at all. But when I start hoovering, she'd turn into a nervous wreck. Washing the floors is something entirely different. She actually likes a bit of water, which is fairly uncommon for a cat.
After hoovering and we turn off the machine Xena acts like the great hunter, as if it was her who killed it. She'll even mount the dead monster and sit on top of it, victorious. But next time, when we take it out of the closet and plug it in, she'll be in the next room immidiately. On the other hand, when I practice drumming, she walks around the room as if nothing is happening, she'll even rub her butt on the bass drum, while thunder and explosion reigns around her.
