Razorlight ~ Wire to Wire
Wednesday, 4. November 2009, 05:33:38
No matter how you feel, there's almost always a song for it. And sometimes a certain song can make you think back on a special time in your life - a special episode. This song reminds me of when I was in Hamburg - where they played it all the time on MTV and on Viva.
The song is called "Wire to Wire", and is made by Razorlight.
Here's a link for the phonies -
- and here's the lyrics.
A sin you swallow for the rest of your life?
You’ve been looking for someone to believe in
To love you, until your eyes run dry
She lives on disillusion road
We go where the wild blood flows
On our bodies we share the same scar
Love me, wherever you are
How do you love with fate full of rust?
How do you turn what the savage take?
You’ve been looking for someone you can trustWho will love you, again and again
How do you love in a house without feelings?
How do you turn what that savage take?
I’ve been looking for someone to believe in
Love me, again and again
She lives by disillusions close
We go where the wild blood flows
On our bodies, we share the same scar
How do you love on a night without feelings? She says “love, I hear sound, I see fury”
She says “love’s not a hostile condition”
Love me, wherever you are
Love me, wherever you are
Love me, wherever you are
Wherever you are

one of my favorites
sometimes a song,
or a perfume,
takes me instantly to a memory of a specific place or person...
this one is connected to happy memories,
thanks for sharing!

Songs and music affect me a lot - some never fail to thrill, or make me cry. Sometimes both.

no falling out the windows on my blog, please!
Anyway - I'm sometimes amazed by how good certain lyrics seem to fit my moods, the things that's on my mind, situations.

Zaphira # 11. November 2009, 17:45
And yourself - how are you feeling?
Minenow # 11. November 2009, 20:59
Highly caffinated.
I loved that feeling of having things in order because of those rare "catch up" opportunities.
I miss that.
Incidentally, another supervisor job just opened up (higher than I had before) , and I'm going to apply. This time I have a healthier attitude. I likely don't deserve it now, but it'd allow me to blossom into myself faster.
Anyhow. I'd be good there. That I'm sure of. We'll see...
*lafs* you're the first person I told. Er, second.

I don't even want to guess who the first person was.
- But thanks for letting me be the second. I promise I won't tell anybody. It'll stay between you, me and the readers.

I was just taking my time commenting!
Minenow # 11. November 2009, 22:21
Kitty, thanks.
I will apply Friday, and then who knows when they'll do interviews and decisions. My company can be decidedly quick or painfully slow depending on a thousand bajillion factors.
Irony? It's HER job. The one who tried to fire me. Like two years later... Here we are. *giggles* It would be cool as hell if she had to train me.
I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway, got your vibes :smooch: and sending them back with interest. You are so special to me...
Enjoy your new couch by the way.
Zaphira # 12. November 2009, 05:29
I agree, it'd be sooo cool if she had to train you - the irony of life, really, that just bites us in the ass all the time.
And yes, I do understand how you feel. I know your heart. I know that sounds ridiculous - but nonetheless. I do.
Minenow # 12. November 2009, 14:24
Course you understand because they're quailties and passions we share.
