There's a thoroughfare going pass my balcony and from this I can monitor all sorts of traffick, including a variety of terristrial locomotors, such as runners and joggers. Lately I have noticed that the use of reflective vests seems to have become quite fashionalble. Some of them wear the cheap version which make them look like members of the scool crossing patrol. Others have chosen the more exclusive outfit with reflective bands on arms and legs and sometimes even reflective sweatbands, making them look like Power Rangers.

I often feel like yelling 'Go, Rangers, go!'. Instead i just shake my head and go back to sitting around.

I have 2 - 1 x flouro Yellow (as shown) and 1 x fluoro Orange - you just need 'contractor' printd on the back, or something. I have 'Visitor' on my yellow one, and I'm going to have 'I Am Not A Whore' printed on the orange one

I saw this survey some consultant firm had made for a Danish newspaper, about which professional branches had the most smokers among their employees. Guess who came in number one? The police force, of course. Next: journalists and - hold on - social workers. The survey also revealed, that those three branches are the ones with most early retirements.

I've both worked as a journalist and as a social worker, and am early retired and a smoker.

Case closed.

Actually, the survey I was referring to came to the conclusion that journalism, police work and social work have most early retirements because of the comparatively high stress factor - NOT because of the smoking.

High stress factor workers smoke, because smoking relieves stress.
