Q : How many vegans does it take to change a lightbulb?
A : None, vegans can't change anything.

Mad Scientistqlue Sunday, June 26, 2011 12:27:39 PM

Mmm... Eat! chef. happy.

Dark FurieFurie Sunday, June 26, 2011 12:42:53 PM

yes

Janburgundymuse Sunday, June 26, 2011 9:53:47 PM

I was a vegetarian for a long time, but I got tired of sitting on the sidelines at P2's great Bar-B-Que's.
Back away from my ribs people..........

Spaggyj Monday, June 27, 2011 12:08:43 AM

I like both. That's ok, right? worried

KittyliciousZaphira Monday, June 27, 2011 4:44:05 AM

It's a personal choice and people can be whatever they want to be. As long my steak is rare and tender, we'll all be fine. yes

I've never been a vegetarian and have no desires to be one, but do accept the fact that others may chose differently. up

FlaRin Monday, June 27, 2011 4:58:09 AM

I was a vegetarian for quite a number of years too, back in UK - but it turns out I feel *much* better eating meat, and I do enjoy it (Lamb is my favourite, Pork my least favourite). bigsmile

FlaRin Monday, June 27, 2011 8:39:08 AM

..but of course mostly I eat fish, then chicken, then the 'meats' - in that order of popularity smile

KittyliciousZaphira Monday, June 27, 2011 11:32:34 AM

I eat chicken the most, then fish and then pork. I hardly ever eat lamb. I do enjoy a good beef steak though. chef

FlaRin Monday, June 27, 2011 10:06:59 PM

A good steak is my speciality. I usually only ever get eye fillet - that's a nice piece of meat.
http://www.zakar.co.nz/images/Eye%20fillet_1.JPG -
Sprinkle it with salt on each side then fry in a bloody hot pan for a couple or 3 mins each side - a brown crust on the outside, rare and bleeding in the middle, tender, juicy and *so* delicious!!! bigsmile

With Portobello Mushroom(s), Broccoli, Courgette and Tomatoes - Mmmm.Mmmm. up

KittyliciousZaphira Tuesday, June 28, 2011 4:59:08 AM

Serve with a big glass of not too cold Pepsi Max and count me in! up

(allthough I must admit that it's a bit early for that now, 7 o'clock in the morning!) lol

FlaRin Tuesday, June 28, 2011 6:41:25 AM

You're in!! lol I agree that 7 am is generally too early for steak. Depends upon circumstances of course - I can think of couple of situations when it'd be good, but perhaps without most of the veges, but with bread and maybe the tomatoes smile

KittyliciousZaphira Tuesday, June 28, 2011 10:18:35 AM

No thanks! I prefer something sweeter for breakfast. Nutella... Honey... Jam... Fluffernutters... p

And perhaps a strawberry or two on special occasions!

FlaRin Thursday, June 30, 2011 2:24:03 AM

The Fluffernutter has been proposed as the official Massachusetts state sandwich. I find that hy-larious lol

I mostly have a banana or two for breakfast, as I'm driving in to work, and a couple of pieces of either gluten-free or Rye bread, toasted and thinly spread with marmite (no butter or marge), about mid-morning smile

\\edit : incidentally (and amazingly)..there is an entire Wikipedia page on the American sandwich, here. I think that's faboo lol

KittyliciousZaphira Thursday, June 30, 2011 8:14:27 AM

Oh wow, I seriously want to go to Massachusetts! And hey, perhaps I should be the official importer of Marshmallow Fluff in Denmark! I can't believe nobody has done it yet! irked

About that page with sandwiches: I want a Melt sandwich!! chef

r♡serose-marie Thursday, June 30, 2011 8:43:25 AM

Over the last years, I've discovered that I have difficulty with big chunks of meat (like steaks). No matter how perfectly made, it just feels like it grows in my mouth.

If served in smaller bits, however, I have no problems with it at all.

KittyliciousZaphira Thursday, June 30, 2011 7:57:59 PM

I'm pretty much like that too. A small steak, well made, and I'm as happy as a cookie. bigsmile

KittyliciousZaphira Thursday, June 30, 2011 7:58:21 PM

Oh look. The C word magically sneaked into the conversation! lol

FlaRin Thursday, June 30, 2011 9:03:49 PM

I believe I could get a lot of serious enjoyment out of a Muffuletta - which I admit I was attracted to first by the name, and found that yes, indeed I want to eat it! bigsmile

Mad Scientistqlue Friday, July 1, 2011 8:20:56 AM

sherlock.

FlaRin Friday, July 1, 2011 9:11:50 AM

Don't give *me* that look, Mr. Shaved Chocolate!!! lol

KittyliciousZaphira Saturday, July 2, 2011 3:11:13 PM

lol

I'll pass on the Muffuletta, despite the very funny name! bigsmile

FlaRin Monday, July 18, 2011 10:45:10 PM

How's about something a little more...standard....

KittyliciousZaphira Tuesday, July 19, 2011 6:43:28 PM

Mad Scientistqlue Wednesday, July 20, 2011 7:08:39 AM

So that's how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are born? bigeyes.

KittyliciousZaphira Wednesday, July 20, 2011 3:37:34 PM

It's a good start of them anyway. left
