I just read in the paper that the bush is coming back. And I do not talk about a former American president, but about the lower regions of the female gender.
It's been trendy since the 1990s that women remove some of or all of their pubic hair, either by shaving or waxing it off.
To make clear what waxing is about, here's a list of variants:
The Bikini Line: This is the least extreme form. All pubic hair covered by the bikini is left in place. Only straggling hairs on either side are removed, so that none are visible when a bikini with high-cut sides is being worn. It is also known as American waxing.

French waxing leaves a vertical strip in front (a landing strip), two to three finger-widths in length just above the vulva. It is also known as a partial Brazilian wax. Hair of the peri-anal area and labia may be removed. Removal of hair from these areas is also known as the Playboy wax or G-waxing.
Brazilian waxing refers to a removal of everything, front to back, while sometimes leaving a thin strip of hair on the pubis. An extreme form of bikini waxing, it involves complete removal of hair from the buttocks and adjacent to the anus, perineum and vulva. Waxes that remove all of the pubic hair are known as a full Brazilian wax, full Bikini wax, Hollywood wax or the Sphinx.
So, now we know what we're talking about.
The article I read in the paper said that more and more women are in for the natural look now, leaving the pubic hair. A sociologist says that it's because that more and more women acknowledge their own worth and role as women and not as girls.
The financial crisis can also affect whether women wax or not: Through the good times we've seen how pampering yourself with luxury jacuzzi baths, oil massages and other similar things have been trendy. Now it seems that the tendency is that the crisis make women (and men) rebel against the smooth and perfect.
So, hairy or not, that is the question. I know what I prefer. What about you?
