Do you know that kind of chores you just keep pushing in front of you, and never really get done?
"I can always do it tomorrow, or maybe even Monday!"
"It in't so important to do it exactly today, it can wait for a while."
"It's no rush at all!"

This is how I felt when I thought about cleaning out my shoe closet. I have been wanting to do it for a very long time. But it was all talk and no action. And suddenly it was a problem; I bought new ones, and I hadn't room for them in my closet, which means they ended in their boxes on my floor. Not acceptable in the long run!

So I have done it now. I took out all the shoes and boots in there, sorted them, and piled them up in two heaps: One to keep and one to trash. Then I arranged all the kept shoes and boots nicely back into the closet, so it's easy for me to find just the pair of shoes I want to wear.

I threw out 6 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots. *sniffles*

I celebrated it by going out and buy a new pair of black boots, instead of the ones I threw out.

Oh yes, and I counted all my shoes and boots too. Now, take a guess. How many do you think I have? And it's all of them, including flip flops, rubber boots, motorcycle boots, everything?!

As you know I went shoe shopping the other day. I had just had my wage and the local shoe shop had announced a sale. It was a rather disappointing sale though, the shoes that was half price shoes were only few pairs, and they were all ugly!

I hate it when that happens, so I went to another shop. I was lucky. They had a weekend sale as well - 33 % off all their shoes. It's a store that usually sell shoes that are more expensive than the ones I usually buy, but with 33 % off I thought I would give it a shot. I feel in love with a pair of black boots, but unfortunately they didn't have it in my size. I was just about to leave the store when the sales assistant pointed my attention towards a pair of brown boots.

The leather felt nice, and I liked the shape of them. I was a little indecisive about the colour, but I decided to try them on anyway.

They felt very nice, and I think they show the nice shape of my calves.

So as you can see from the photo, I bought them.

I only bought that one pair of boots, because they were pretty expensive, but I might as well show you the latest two pair of shoes I have bought, now I am at it.

I bought these baseball boots online from a punk store in the UK. Sometimes these alternative shops have some pretty cool accessories, and I love the red contrast bands and shoelaces on these boots. They go with everything: Jeans, shirts, dresses... and I wear them a lot!



I have something with red shoes. Red shoes can turn a grey, dull day into a colourful one!

I bought these pumps a while ago - and to be honest I have not worn them yet. But that style was just to good to miss - and they were on sale.

I am going to a big party in 3 weeks time - I will wear them there.
