Shoes ~ Again

There's nothing that cheers you up like a good round of shoe shopping.

I was taking a walk the other day, and on my way home I passed my local shoe shop. They didn't have anything interesting in their show window, but I felt like browsing around in there anyway. So I went in, having a look around. They did have some cool ones, but the ones I fell for were only in sizes smaller than my feet. Typical! :irked:

I was just about to leave the shop, when I saw something. There... up there on the top shelf... A pair of red pumps. Whoa... I liked them right away, but he only had one size displayed, which is never a good sign. I took them down, turned them upside down and I almost couldn't believe my luck: They were my size!

I tried them on before checking the price, and it felt as if they were sewn just for me! I took a walk around the shop in them, and they were just perfect. I knew I wanted them, so even though the price made me gasp, I bought them. I've learned that life is simply too short for crappy shoes.

It's not often you see shoes from "Fly" here, which is a shame, because they always have some seriously cool details on them.

This is the underside of the shoes. Cool, eh?

Maybe there's something I'm missing, but won't the intricate details on the underside of the shoes be worn away before long? Seems a rather pointless endeavour to me. awww

The detail with the ribbon will not be worn away because of the heels - I don't step on that area. The fly however, yeah, it might disappear at some point. I see it added mostly for fun, no one will see it but the owner. :up:

But they weren't available in black. awww

As you might have noticed, I like cool stockings as much as I like cool shoes. Unfortunately those on the picture didn't survive throughout the day. :sigh:

I just realised that the top picture is a Kitty's-eye view. To think that I hadn't noticed that the camera is at :cat: height until now. Homer: Doh!

Does this often happen when you buy new shoes? You get home and a nasty woman snatches two of your four new shoes, and then she forces you to take pictures of her wearing your shoes? :irked:awww

After all, they can't be your paws in the shoes. The legs are too long to be a cat's - plus there is no fur on them. :rolleyes:
Tell the nasty woman to give you back your nice red shoes. :Zaphira:

I think I spoke of them to you before when you bought your purple shoes. The Fly's are designed by a portuguese guy! :D

:lol: I prefer a good pair of shoes. Nothing beats comfy shoes for getting around! I enjoy walking as much as I can! A bag for me just hangs on my shoulder - I don't care how much it costs, as long as I like it and it carries my stuff. :lol:

@ Kimmie ~ It's rather typical for me. If I am searching for something in particular, I don't find it. If I go in without expecting to find something - *dang* there it is! :D

@ Issy ~ Yes, they are amazingly comfy, it's so cool. And yes, you did mention Fly's when I put up my purple shoes.
On my way home from a walk today I saw a pair of green ones, hmmm... maybe... :lol:

@ Angeliki ~ I don't have the same thing with bags, that I have with shoes (thank god for that!) - I have a couple, but I usually use the same one. I can't be bothered to move everything from bag to bag. P:

I'm glad you found the perfect shoes for your day and your mood. :0

I can't shop that way, though. I go to a store to buy what I want. If they don't have it, I leave. I don't go poking around to see what else I could buy, instead. And I do not go browsing. I get really uncomfortable knowing that I am falling into their psychological marketing trap. :insane:

We stepped right into a huge difference between the genders here.

You see, I didn't go in there to find a specific pairs of shoes, I just went in there to see if there was anything I might like. And I love browsing - especially when I have lots of time doing it. :up:

I might have a very expensive taste but I never spend unless I can pay my bills at the end of the month in full :smile:

No, probably not. Those I don't wear over the next year, will go in the next round of "closet cleaning". :yes:
